I just saw the very first trailer for it and liked how it looked. Decided to just buy it, never thought I'd fall in love with the series like this. Fallout 3 became one of my favourite games ever.So how did you guys discover the series?
Got Oblivion for my birthday back in 2005, and have been following Bethesda's releases ever since. So how did you guys discover the series?
I couldn't bring myself to start up another game in FO3 for the five millionth time, so I finally decided to start playing new vegas, which I've never played before but picked up on a steam sale a year or so ago.Been playing fo3 again to pass time until fo4.
When I played on 360, I think it was my freshman year in high school, and I went to gamestop for a game. I saw this game on the shelf with an amazing and serious cover, knew nothing about it and it sounded like a great deal according to what was on the box. Think it was on sale for $20 dollars. So I bought it. Needless to say, I fell in love and got addicted to the series lol.I just saw the very first trailer for it and liked how it looked. Ya I started watching what other games Bethesda does too. I only played fo3 once but got over 300 hours in. new Vegas was fun, but I missed having subway tunnels to explore.Got Oblivion for my birthday back in 2005, and have been following Bethesda's releases ever since.

Ham exactly how I found it!When I played on 360, I think it was my freshman year in high school, and I went to gamestop for a game. FO3 was my Bethesda gateway drugYa I started watching what other games Bethesda does too. I only played fo3 once but got over 300 hours in. new Vegas was fun, but I missed having subway tunnels to explore.
Yeah it's gonna be a skill tree based system as opposed to points, similar to Skyrim. I don't like this actually. What's gonna happen to skill books?Apparently Skills aren't in the game anymore. You also don't start off with a base of 5 in each SPECIAL.
This news makes me want to play FO1+2 even more.
As excited as I am, I may or may not watch it. Trying to savor my hype for release date. If I watch too much of someone else playing a game, it makes me not want to play it as much.More gameplay is going to be shown at Quake Con
I got oblivion when it came out b/c I have always loved RPG games (western rpgs) and after that I decided that it was awesome and I that I should check out this "bethesda" company...Been playing fo3 again to pass time until fo4.

For me it was random. just happened to see a used copy at gamestop for 40 I think. I liked the box art and read the back, so I thought it was a reasonable price and if I didn't like it no big loss. I finished the game just before the first DLC came out on PSN.
They have their misses though too; Rage was disappointing, very short, and I haven't really cared much for Evil Within.I got oblivion when it came out b/c I have always loved RPG games (western rpgs) and after that I decided that it was awesome and I that I should check out this "bethesda" company...
turns out, they rock. haha
I didn't like Rage either... and I haven't played Evil Within. Don't even know what it is. lolThey have their misses though too; Rage was disappointing, very short, and I haven't really cared much for Evil Within.
Its a survival horror game. I think it was the same guy that created Resident Evil.I didn't like Rage either... and I haven't played Evil Within. Don't even know what it is. lol
