So naturally i started the download, got about 800MB in before I read enough here and on steam to realize I downloaded 800MB too much. Again I came crawling back to this nasty bitch that won't put out, just to have my heart broken a 5th time. BULLOCKS i'm going for a walk.

Those that patched, can you still decline any ranked match?

Well im usually a trainingmode monster and didn't get affected by all the bugs in towers, test your luck, ranked etc.
But NOW, when the game even crashes for me in trainingmode!? Kinda pisses me off a bit, i can play predator 20 min a piece atleast then it crashes.

I've never had problems in trainingmode before.

Please fix it

Or more likly myself and literally EVERYONE I know personally that plays (15 people) has had zero problems with the game. No save wipes, no frame rate problems... nothing.

I'm not having problems either. Eventually Predator and the new skins were unlocked.

I just spent roughly an hour testing, and so far, all good. I've mainly tested in the Living Towers, doing the Hourly and then the Premier tower without any incident. Not a single crash or random alt-tab to desk top so far (so far), the game seems to have less screen tearing (still using nVidia Adaptive), no save data loss or unlocked skins re-locked.

I toyed in the training room, but only for about 5 or so minutes and it was fine (need to test for longer), and I noticed the game begins to load before the walk out animations can occur, but that's not a huge deal. Some in-game fonts look a bit bigger to me, but it's nothing that doesn't blend in quickly.

I also tried the new Klassic Fatalities in Fatality Training and they were fine.

Is Kitana's Assassin Rush supposed to do the full three hits without Metre now? The only thing using Metre seems to do is grant armour for the move. Was that intended?

Otherwise, thus far, no issues. I'm not doubting others are indeed having issues at all, we all know this port has had lots of problems for lots of people; merely relaying my own results thus far.

Oh, one thing I should add is I do _not_ have the Kombat Pack or any premium content outside of Blue Steel Sub-Zero and Goro. All other premium content I'm waiting on a Steam sale for.

Training mode has crashed 3 times for me and my friend already after about 30 minutes each crash. This never, ever happened before.

I'm so tired of this bullshit port.

It's not, I was just practicing Hat Trick vs Sub. They've fucked something up again because it used to be like this before some earlier patches

This is probably one of the worst PC ports I've played in a long time (I'm sure there have been worse in general but I've not played them). If only Steam refunds had launched a couple of months earlier. Constant crashing, glitching, new bugs introduced, massive downloads, etc - it's a parody of what PC gaming (and in particular - PC ports) was seen to be many years ago except it's actually happening now.

I can honestly say that I feel like I wasted my money with this purchase :/

Yup, Training Crash confirmed, regardless of characters or stage selected. Just had it twice. Happens in roughly 15 minutes, and Task Manager won't show to force the program to close.

A full hard restart is needed.

I think the steam refunds were implemented due to disaster AAA titles that previously released, such as Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed Unity, along with MKX. Steam wants to set things right so they don't get too bad press, especially after the whole paid mods thing.

Now, I seem to have been in the minority with this game.. I have had some issues with slow-downs and frame lagg trouble here and there when playing towers, or in training. MKX does not ever leave my memory when closes, I have to ctrl alt del to close it, and if I don't play in full-screen windowed I cant alt tab out of MKX without spamming it and fighting with the game to minimize. these are all minor inconveniences though, that I CAN accept (Its NOT ok that it's happening, I just mean I can still enjoy the game) but I seem to be in a very small grouping of people who have minimal issues with the game. Others seem to have it wayyyy worse.

So, real quick, are we now current with consoles? Or are we still waiting on patches to catch us up? I know we have Pred, but like the Kitana buff patch and all that jazz...??

We are missing the post CEO Tanya nerf patch.

I don't think I have that memory issue anymore. Now when I exit the game it fully closes but before it would stay in my processes and I could hear the menu music/sounds. I have the game in small windowed and it still gives me trouble switching windows sometimes. I fairly new to PC gaming so I don't really know what to make of all these problems. Oh and now we have this training mode crash happening. I know coding can be a beast sometimes but it seems like no matter what they do they can't get the game to function on the most basic of levels.

Oh, so that must mean there is no issues at all right, I agree with this logic.



I also feel bad for the reputation that Hitler has gotten throughout history. I had heaps of family members and friends with family members who were alive during that time, and not a single one of them was gassed to death by him.... not one.

I spent 40 minutes or so more in training mode with no crashes, but the framerate felt like it would dip a little from time to time.

Again, I'm in the lucky minority though it seems. A friend bought the game to play vs me and his has been essentially unplayable since day one. We totally gave up after spending a week trying everything we, or the internet in general, could come up with. Horrible framerate, crash after crash, occasional slideshow framerates, etc.

I'm staying away from training mode, but something about the netcode has improved. not even joking, not trolling, something has improved with the connections. The bars will genuinely represent your connection status for the first time in NRS History.

Maybe they just threw a random(1,4) there and sometimes it gets it right.

Also played last night for 3 hours straight online without any crash. Didn't touch training mode though because I was scared. I freakin HATE having to hard restart my pc.

It's hard to tell without knowing your specs. This port is pretty bad so it's not a good indicator of your hardware strength anyway.
