This is my first MK game since MK on N64 as a kid, and I gotta say I'm loving it. Especially after having to deal with stupid SFAE
garbage. I might even say it's as good as Third Strike.

hmm. well I'm basically trying to main the whole cast at some point. Or at least be fluent with each character. If I had to pick my best, the top by far would be kabal, reptile, and liu kang/quan chi.

I play probably like 3/4 of the cast right now, but those are for sure my main characters. Especially kabal and reptile.

agreed. and 3rd strike is the game I started with so I'm a little spoiled. But I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised at MK9, especially considering bad experiences with MKDC.
