Official Southeast NEC travel thread

more peeps going that is great. Looks like 4 more to fill van #2. We need to do it quickly because if the #2 van does not fill up then I will fly to NEC.

I don't think Nov 25th is soon enough to make sure people are serious. As of right now we have 2 people going that neither of us have met, and 2 people in van 2, which makes this all pretty up in the air. We need to get this wrapped up and completely confirmed by the end of this week just in case someone drops out and we are left with 7 and I fly to NEC.

I think the 19th should be the cutoff for the payments to reserve your spot in the van. Hotel payments are a side issue that can be worked out person to person.

I'm confirmed, and I have the money for the van.. You're talking baout the $85 fee right? Also Pig, let me know how much I need to pay for the hotel.<3

I am mikosu. This name was a joke name but too late now lol. I'm still interested in going. So that's $85 from both me and SupHy. We may get a room with Calibur players but how much are you thinkin of charging for your floor space just in case? Also lol @ Beenee talkin up my skill. I don't play MK but don't mind being a punching bag.

My room is full. I do not want to speak from Pig but I thought I recalled him saying his room is full also. There are several others going though so hopefully they will chime in.

For those interested in attending the NEC Tournament but low on cash, this streamcast may be for you.
Our vans seat anywhere from 12-18 individuals, we like to keep the max at 15 so that everyone can be comfortable along the trip.
I personally provide Coupons for 4 Star Restaurants so we can make the eating as cheap as humanly possible (This is for any trip we go upon not just for NEC)
Inside the streamcast, it tells you the total amount each person would have to pay based upon the number of attendees.
The Amount per person can go as low as $25 per person but no higher then $55 per person keeping with the them of "The more that attend the cheaper it is for everyone to go"
We have two Hotel rooms reserved so far, Philly is my home town so for those interested we will be site seeing a day before the actual tournament, meeting up with a few lady friends etc.
Casuals will be on deck and we also have some money matches lined up as well

Toxic the plan is still being worked on for leaving. The goal is to meet everyone somewhere close to the interstate at 8:00 AM Thursday morning. Pig is handling the details as to where that will be and if everyone can be there at 8am.
