Please NRS - Visually Divergent Player 2 skins?

Love most things about MKx but one thing that really sucks is that many of the new toons only have 1 skin, or 2 but the 2nd is really similar.

I mean check out the Tanya vs Tanya matched at CEO.. I mean wtf is going on!! lol

I think as a free DLC all toons should be given a visually altered player 2 skin of some kind. So D'Vorah, Tanya and Jason specifically. Or at least give everyone a complete 2nd skin they can pick out or something, that is obviously different.

Actually, NRS does have an alternate skin ready for Tanya, but, y'know, "racism" is apparently a higher priority for a fictitious character than competitive resource...

P1-P2 colors are pretty separate, even with Tanya you can tell which witch is which.

They did a good job this game making them look different enough. Hope it continues.

I think some characters/costumes do it better than others. Overall though it is a massive improvement over MK9 where most of the player 2 colors were just a few shades lighter or darker than the default.

Like with Tayna... change the main colour the "gold" to something else.. maybe red or blue (both complementary colours to gold)

Yeah, this could have been used for sure. Though I as I said I compleatly disagree about the "c;early tell" you simply can't especially on a event stream where the quality is not as good as in game.

It's just a thing people from other genres do. It all means the same in the end, Toon, Champion, Character.

Yeah well, the fundamental problem with that is, who the fuck is Tanya or any of the previous games she appeared in iconic to? 14 people from MKU? You don't see Ryu walking around with fruity red hair and heels based on his original appearance in Street Fighter 1.

Besides, I only brought up that costume as a means for a distinguishable alternate. It would help if NRS actually came up with alternates for all DLC characters from the get go instead of putting resources into giving Scorpion unnecessary LSD-inspired skins.

This is the case with most of the characters in the game -- you can tell them apart pretty well. This should probably have been posted in the Tanya forum, as it seems like you're raising a Tanya-specific issue.

no, it is just the most obvious example as I think it is the worst... but I could do screenshots for many other toons.

It is just that the DLC toons get it worst as they do not have any alternative skins at all. Most of the classic toon have enough skins that the problem is not so bad.

Tanya gets it the worst, and Jason is not much better... and who knows what Predator / Tremor will be like.

Most of the alt colors are really bland and do make it hard for people that are color blind to differentiate between them.

You probably saw it first in the daytime and then latter there was a darker ambient light around the place. It is about white space balancing... it is a photography thing. You can replicate it in photoshop... but this photo is a strange freak accident. It is pretty interesting...

Nah, it was late at night, and around 30min difference between the change. My friend was showing my websites with the article and pictures of the dress, and it was all white and gold to me. Then, after i watched that exact video you have linked, i was like holy crap, now it's black and blue. So after the video, i go back to all those links, and now the dress was black and blue to me. There was no difference, same monitor, same room, same lighting.
