Run Cancels- Did they change the timing for the followups on them?

Just wondering if they messed with the timing on the run cancels? When I play Johnny Cage I usually Run Cancel into either his 21 or his F24. Before the patch it was pretty easy to get out but now for some reason when I hit 21 or F24 the two's don't come out and it just goes into the 1 or the 4 respectively. I only get it out if I actually do the follow ups after the RC slower. I'm just wondering if they messed with the timing or if I'm just doing it wrong. Thanks.

I've been playing Raiden today and i didn't notice any difference in his lighting run cancel, was the same timing for me.

It seems to me like they have changed fundamental things from the game, all of my chars bnbs feels stiff and more strict now. Run cancels, special moves, air juggles and everything in general feels so weird to me now.

This def moved something around, no good, no good at all.

Okay, so I'm not crazy. I feel like I'm canceling into run WAY too early on juggles. On the final sequence of my Ninjutsu BnB, my 2, 1 spear just completely whiffs. I've essentially had to relearn the last part of the combo.

Well i havent noticed any problems either.
Maybe it could be caused by lag making it not your fault my friend.
By the way why would you use 21 after skrc? Why not 11 ? has plus frames and 21 doesnt^^

Edit: Well i also just had a problem executing scorpion combos. But that might be an online issue

It feels weird on training mode. The timing is dif, they changed things around, for the worse.

just checked scorpion and u r right there is something wierd going on. his simple 214 into teleport into 21 spear seems freaking hard to connect. ok they changed 214 but it shouldnt have this effect. donno why its so hard

Ok just checked cage and it seems everything to be ok with his cancels. Also the combos are the same tried run combos with sub and i have no issues so far. I guess it is more of a thing concerning scorp.
they kinda messed him up

The rc is just the same, i played a lot of a list yesterday! scorpion is the one that have changed due to the 214 string.

the best option that is left for a consistent 214 tele combo might be
214 tele 11 spear. id suggest that since it seems easier to pull off especially when playing online

After messing with the RC's with Johnny Cage again last night I find the starters off 121 and F34 are still the same but I'm still having trouble with the b34 starter even though I had it down pat the other day. Either way, it's something I'm just gonna have to relearn it. Thanks guys.
