People that crossover and jump too much

How can I deal with people who jump over me everytime im knockdown and jump forward punch/kick me every god damn times even though im blocking they end up jumping over again and whip my ass. I fought one just yesterday, he wasn't good but he did exactly like that with scorpion and subzero he beat me more than i beat him. This is just one of my problem to deal with online, crossover and jump forward me to death. I use Liu Kang, Scorpion, and subzero.

With Scorp and Liu run under, backslash or try and trip guard if you make a read nip him Sxorps uppercut is a real good anti air.

For Sub catch him with MB ground smash for full combo

Jumping is pretty strong in this game tbh. There are ways of coarse. Usually if they're constantly jumping and hitting u on block and then immediately jumping over again then you can poke through it. If I see that pattern I'll usually do a d1 and it will hit them mid jump and knock them down. U can also try an armor move but only specific armor moves will hit stuff like that. What you can do is go into practice mode and record the AI doing exactly what ppl have been doing to you and find buttons or special moves that work in your favor in that kind of situation. Hope this helps you and good luck out there!

If it comes to Sub, use ex db1, it has some good aa capabilities although it sometimes misses when people cross you up. Also you can follow up with a combo if you time it well. If you read that he will jump, you can always try to neutral jump punch for combo or kick for knockdown.

A universal answer can be armor. Honestly though. I feel online jumping is significantly stronger then offline jumping. Unfortunately I have to have "online tactics" and "offline tactics".

What I've found that helped me out a lot is learning how to block less and instead just keeping your feet moving 80% backwards and 20% forwards (this might just be an online thing). One reason why jump-ins are so good in this game is because its essentially a 50/50 with the run. Moving backwards gives you more time to react to which one your opponent will do and having your finger off block allows you to make that anti-air or anti-run-poke come out faster. If you see that your opponent is tending to jump over after every blocked string, let go of block and just walk backwards. If he pokes you can make it whiff, if he jumps you might put yourself in a better position to anti-air.
