I know, I was being a little sarcastic - in a good, fun way though :p

Not everthing the leakers has said has been accurate pluse I doubt they'd know the second DLC bunch before the games release unless they are/close with someone inside from NRS :)

Why would you want a pack with just cyborgs when you just complained about the game having generic characters? If they are going to do a second Kombat Pack it needs to be something like this:
  • Fujin
  • Female character (???)
  • Cyborg character (Cyrax / Sektor / Smoke)
  • Spawn

The only reason why I said "female character" is because a lot of people think there needs to be more females. I never said Cyber Smoke had to be a character, they could do Cyrax or Sektor. It was just a suggestion. As for Spawn, NetherRealm already has the rights to add him in, so it makes since. I would prefer an actual MK character, but I'm just suggesting stuff that actually makes sense.

Usually DLC run with one female in the pack since this is a sausage fest roster. Only 7 1/2 females including DLC out of 29 characters haha

I personally was very shocked not even one cyborg made the roster. Literally - how could nobody not say the words " cyber-ninja" and not think of course? In all it seems like Netherealm really took a step away from its traditional mythos when constructing the roster. A lot of what makes MK fun was the absurdity of the combatants. Yes there are new faces...but I guess they haven't had the time to grow or me. Plus it doesn't help that only Kotal and D'vorrah are the only visually striking new characters. Erron Black is cool yes - but I was hoping for some sort of fantastical element...though those sand grenades do kind hit the spot haha.

Fujin was supposedly the most request character in MK9 and I would have thought him to be a shoe-in for this roster. I figured that since Sektor and Cyrax didn't die in MK9 that they'd be back - but supposedly everyone that anyone ever loved in MK has been killed, with only a select few revived for little to no reason other than because they have a relative being introduced as a new character.

I really want Sektor back personally, I loved his design, I loved his patient/explosive fightstyle. I was so excited to see how the Lin Kuei would change in this timeline with him as grandmaster.....and BAMMMM...he was killed by what the 5th Sub Zero?

I think it'd be incredibly irresponsible for Netherrealm to have made a roster based of the story and add veteran requested characters as DLC to milk us. This is a fighting game first and foremost. What makes me even more upset is that someone like me WILL PURCHASE EVERYTHING they release as DLC because I know everything they make will be a quality product. I just want a fucking Cyborg or a flying sonic banshee damnit.

So me and couple of long time fans of the MK series wanted to really see some old faces in particular, cyber ninjas. We understand some of the moves of these characters have been split up and put into others variations(example is cassie spec ops = sector missile drops, sonya = homing missiles etc) but no real homage to these fan favs. Our solution was to create a new cyber ninja who's variations will mimic those of his predecessors. We all know at some point we might see them as DLC but why wait for all 3 when we can have a fighter who encompasses all the greatness. The variations should be "code names" after the ninja its copies such as "Seek and destroy" - Sektors variation, "Catch and retrieve" - Cyrax variation, and lastly "Recon" - combination of Smoke and Noob(yes i know Noob never had a cyber version but just go with it lol) variation. Here is some of the moves and I think would work out for this version of the game without being OP.

Seek and destroy (Sektor)
Main moves:
Strait missile
(MB)Homing missle
Teleport(from the ground)
(MB)Teleport punch(from the ground)
Flame thrower
(MB)Flame thrower after burner(extra hit+.5 more damage)

Catch and retrieve (Cyrax)
Main moves:
Cyber leap (jumping command grab)
(MB)Cyber Slam(slams twice and cause ground bounce)
Capture (net projectile)
(MB)Capture (does small DOT while in net)
Boom (deploys small ground bomb, hard knockdown)
(MB)Boom Boom (deploys small ground bomb, causes pop up)


Espionage and sabotage (noob/smoke)
Main moves:
Hide and seek(invis cloak like reptile)
(MB)He's gone?(completely invis like reptile)
Smoke bomb(smoke's fireball from MK9)
(MB)Smoke cloud(Noobs fireball that disabled blocking)
Teleport punch(from the side)
(MB)Teleport fury(1 punch from the side then teleports to other side for 1 more punch)


I've tried to keep some of the moves a little close to the original owners versions with some of the greater combo extensions needing Meter burn in order to capitalize for bigger damage or set up. I know some of it is a little shaky but this is just to get people thinking and maybe a little. Maybe enough attention could get Netherelm to either endorse this character or give us the ninjas we love back in a new system. Please feel free to make new move sets or suggestions to make existing ones better/balanced.
