Lackey Torr, Shotgun Jacqui, and Master of Storms Raiden. I also play Johnny Cage Stunt Double, but along with the MoS Raiden I don't consider either low tier. Jacqui is probably the worst by a country mile.

I would say the best unused variation has to be Ruthless Ferra/Torr.

If you can get the damage buffs off, he can do 55%-70% off a 3 hit combo into x-ray.

You really don't have to use meter at all with that character either, 'kept for kombo breakers.

Its kinda funny that my main and 2 pocket characters are all the least used variation. I picked these before even hearing about the goodies the remaining variations have. Ninjistu scorp (main), d-fangs goro, spectral ermac. I use no other variations for these 3 characters. Have had huge success with them. Could this be because the lack of players using them, makes everyone forget about the specific tools they posses, while respecting your character as if they were the main stream variations.? Footsies beats gimmicks kids

MoS Ermac is almost as common as scorpion and if I run into D'Vorah it's almost always swarm queen or venomous.

I hardly see anyone play MOS Ermac or D'Vorah on XBOX one online (ranked or casual). I mostly see the Jins, Errons, Scorpions, Takedas, One or two Mileenas, one or two Raidens, and on a good day maybe another Shinnok player. But I hardly see the list I placed on the page. Maybe I need to expand more... who knows but yeah.

I naturally gravitated to Blood God and Sun God Kotal as well as Unstoppable Jason, without considering competitive viability at all. The only other character variation I play is Slasher Jason. So, 3 out of the 4 variations I main are somewhat scarcely used.

Cassie the one I've seen only ONCE here at a local is "Brawler"
Tanya - a bit too new to tell but I know a lot of people are on Dragon Naginata outright.

Brawler Cassie may actually be her most popular variation in terms of sheer usage.

Necromancer sucks balls. Some of the worst tracking moves in the game are right now, not worth putting in the time.

I think underused variations are a results of (at this time) glaring disadvantages as opposed to the others. take Hat trick and Yondaime Milieena for example. these revolve around setups when the other variations are ass kickers straight up. that doesn't mean they are useless though (jury is still out on hat trick )
