not the mans fault that hvs only optimised the game for Matrox,Voodoo and PowerVR gpu's ALSO am i the only one that remembers these
My very first online game was Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2. Shit used 3d acceleration. Man 90's games were the best.

Dasblackman

The struggle is real
Tried with all settings low and it's still locked at 30 during gameplay. V-sync and frame smoothing off. It goes up to 300 fps during loading, then locks at 30 once the game starts.

I know my system can run it, it's a Lenovo Y50-70 Touch. This is the only game that refuses to run at 60, even on really low settings.

You're one of the cases where you want frame smoothing on. If it's locked at 30fps during GAMEPLAY turn it on.

this is so true. You need to be running a current generation gfx card. I know the steam has really low specs on the requirements page.. but if you are not running a 9 series (I do not know what the ATI current gen is as those cards are nothing but problematic in my experience) then your already behind the 8ball. If your into PC gaming, pretty much everything form now on will require these cards.. so may as well upgrade now.
My 770 is still going strong, thanks.

In your nvidia control panel do you have v-sync set at half refresh?
I think an 860m is a bit worse then a 660. For modern games the 660 is the lowest card to run games at 1080p.
I can only run the Witcher 3 at 30 fps with graphics turned up on a 660 ti small over clocked.

By the way a 660 ti will run mk just fine. The problem most people where having was with the gta5 and witcher 3 graphic drivers. Nvidia messed them up for kepler 6xx/7xx cards. If you update your drivers to 353.06 you should be fine.

Hey Enigma, great stuff. The only issue I currently have with the new 1.1 version is that it crashes if you go back to the character select screen or the main menu with the cam hack still enabled. This didn't happen with 1.0. Just so all bases are covered, the background on my main menu/character select screen is currently Special Forces.

If you deactivate the cam hack prior to backing out to the main menu/character select, it will not crash. But yeah, with the last 1.0 version, I could literally fly the camera around even while selecting characters. Just wanted to give you this feedback.

Thanks.
Thanks for reporting this. I'm going to look into it this week.

I should actually try turning Motion Blur off and see if that does anything. I also have a nVidia GeForce 750 Ti, and again, the game is running great for me.

With Motion Blur off, perhaps I'll get slightly less tearing while using nVidia Adaptive Vertical Sync.

Might not be able to test until the weekend now though.
I only get tearing if i play fullscreen, windowed mode there is no tearing, also vsync is bad for this type of game since it introduces input lag.

Yeah they added that in the latest patch its also 9f startup now or something like that.

Anyways been practising on pc and playing on ps4 locally both versions feel very different I was dropping tons of stuff inputing things i have on tap on pc and watching as they either fail to come out or i get something other than i had went for another pc player was having similar issues just wondering if this is a known issue between the versions or are we just playing really bad

i play stick on PC and pad on XB1 and can land everything -kinda, I drop stuff on xb1 coz I can't pad-

My pc version runs perfect tho, most people seem to have issues with their framerate so it might be that.

Blood God's totems got patched, but the Tanya infinite is still there.

So frame data is wrong, but, with the extra pinch of HVS magic,
it will try to tell us it is correct.

V-sync is not bad for the game. Ps4/xbone both have it on. when I turn v-sync off on pc the timing is different then the ps4. Not by much but you definitively notice the differences.

EntropicByDesign

It's all so very confusing.
Games been running really well for me. Granted, aside from the memory leak, its always run pretty well on my system.

Do the consoles run at 30fps or 60?

i think nvidia adaptive is not as good as just adaptive in my experience.

i get 60fps using both.. but there is some tearing on nvidia adaptive

are you playing full screen?

This is why PC gaming is so complex. Unlike consoles there are so many variables they need to cover. Much harder platform to get working well.
