Question - Kano KANO needs some buffs?

B1 needs to be +88, an- Fuck it I'm gonna take my post from the General discussion thread and paste it here.

He's in that sweet spot where none of his variations are outright bad, but none are so amazing that it's the go-to. Every single one has good strengths and tough weaknesses, but you can win with each one.

Though they could all do with a little safe choke here(and actually plus on hit), a B1 (overhead) extension there. Nothing drastic as changing a move (unless that move is up-laser) or giving him massive plus frames or a big damage boost or an overhead 50/50 on every variation.

Truth be told, Kano needs his MK9 Choke back.

Kano Kano Kano.

His overhead sucks in my opinion. His power charge sucks in my opinion.

I'm not crying Im just voicing my opinion in the appropriate thread. I am a fighting game noob, mediocre at the game, but with a positive record. Some people seem to like his overhead. I don't get it, but I can understand that it might just be a problem on my end.

These buff threads have to fucking die, why do most of you play nrs games when you clearly dont want to learn them or dont even like them? Yall are some masochist fucks

Let it be known that this man does NOT speak for the Kano community at all. We're fine with the character the way he is.

I'm glad you misspelled my handle and the tag didn't work because THIS THREAD IS THE DESTRUCTION OF ALL HUMANITY
I agree. But if I have to suffer so do you. :)

I probably should have created this thread and named it "Kano = Kano 3.0". The reaction would have been interesting.

Anyway, Cybernetic Kano's design works very well. Unfortunately, the game revolves around safe 50/50 mix ups, so his solid footsies and zoning are greatly diminished.

what does this mean

you seem a lot more upset about this than most people would be
Look in the Kano discussion thread, where Salt Shaker brought up this. It should be one of the last posts.

And I'm upset not at everything else in the thread, I've come to accept that. I'm upset that I'm apparently in the wrong for expecting NRS to make the most balanced game possible.

By no means am I an expert or rep of this community(I would feel very bad for the community if I was), but it's just my opinion and looking at past experience, characters get wrongfully buffed and nerfed in every game. But the characters that generally get hit the most are those where the developers stand pat. I don't expect to ever get a Kenshi buff, but down the road I do expect the small stuff to hit bit by bit.

Chill Bro. II want the game to be balanced too. But it won't. Their will always be a low tier and a top tier
There will always be a top and low tier, yes. But I don't see why I should just accept that Character X is low tier, while Character Y is top tier. I'd want the developers to try and close the gap between the top tier and bottom tier as hard as they can.

I agree 100%

what does this mean
He meant let's not have a character who is deemed "fine" for a year so they get 1 adjustment out of 6 patches combined, only for people to realize she isn't that good at all a year later and could have used some of those buffs that almost the whole cast got through patch season.
