Haven't found any news recently about the hot fix being implemented. Feeling a bit frustrated to be honest. Was really hoping to use the Kenshi/Takeda changes.

Honestly Takeda is just fine even without the buffs especially in lag, not so with Kenshi, he kinda needed the stuff they did.

I'm not trying to sound like a whiny little kid over this, but NRS is essentially ignoring the PC community. This really is a big deal. When those of us who take this game seriously (in the sense that I want to continue to improve and be as good as I am able) are 1-2-3 patches behind, its unacceptable. If the PC version is going to be delayed a few days or whatever, fine, but NRS needs to acknowledge that we even exist, and make some kind of statement to us.

I'm asking any PC players, or any players at all who think this is a bullshit move on NRS's part, to *please* take to Twitter and tweet @noobde and @NetherRealm and let them know that we may be a smaller piece of the MKX pie, but we are here and we deserve parity with the consoles.

I paid the same as the console players, and Im sure that you all did as well. I had INTENDED to buy all relevant DLC and really make a run at this game, but NRS has shown nothing but apathy and disregard for the PC community. Can you imagine if this happened to the ps4 or Xbox community.. and one of them was significantly behind (I dont mean a day or two, but weeks to months)?

I know we have been brought up to date as of the patch previous to this one, but with such a HUGELY important balance patch now in circulation, one that I would imagine is drastically changing the way the game is being played by a huge number of people, NRS maintaining complete silence about when we are getting it, is bullshit. That does not bode well for us at all, as if it was a few days or a week behind, I image they would say so.

We deserve answers at least.

Sorry for a salt post with a bunch of bitching, but if we dont start hammering them, we will never get any answers, nor any respect from them. I've been tweeting once every few hours, I'd invite any and everyone willing to do the same until we hear something.

And yes, before the trolls come in and attack me for having too much time on my hands, I'm off work with a back injury, and likely to be off for the rest of the week, so, I do in fact, have too much time on my hands.

There is a difference between not providing a product, to charging $100 for a product and fucking over your consumers. I think NRS treats their customers abysmally, the terrible netcode shouldn't be a thing to begin with, how the fuck do you go from bad to worse through steam?

Is there though? Both are being fucked pretty hard. Let's be serious, last-gen will be paying for a tenth of what PS4/XB have got, so even after being delayed so long, they're still getting a heavily watered down version. The only information last-gen have had has been, "it's delayed" and "It's delayed again." You PC players can still enjoy the game regardless of whether it's up to date or not, so that's at least something.

I can understand your frustration and yes, NRS SHOULD provide more updates as to what's going on. Also, you can Tweet as much as you like, I don't think it will make a difference. They aren't going to work on updates or releases any faster because some random people Tweet at them.

Meh, I feel like I can give a pretty non-biased opinion since almost all of this applies to me. I no longer have a PS4, so I was originally waiting for the last gen release, till eventually succumbing to the fact that it is NOT coming anytime in the near future, and buying it on my shoddy computer that cannot run it properly. So I would have loved to have last gen release more than anything. That being said, it does not compare to spending $100 for a game in an unsuitable state for playing.

At the end of the day, until you purchase the game on last gen, NRS doesn't owe you anything and isn't screwing you over at all. There is a massive difference between that and the current state of the PC release, if you can't see that you are the reason they get away with such stuff

You paid for MKX and you got it, your issue with the patches is a separate problem.

When you have a problem with the employee you ultimately have a problem with the establishment that hired them. NRS is just as much at fault as HVS and it clearly shows they don't give a damn about the PC version. Probably denying it and its player base even exists.

i'm one of the few where the game runs with no issues, the fact that only a few get to run it properly says it all tho obviously.

I do agree on them needing to fix the weird memory leak and all the other ones making it unplayable or run at a shitty framerate even when your PC specs are more than enough to handle the game. From the looks of it tho I don't they know how to fix it as they've release multiple patches that were supposed to fix said issues but they still plague the game.

For now they need to at least give us an ETA on when we'll get the June 1st hotfix. I want my fixed Jacqui damnit :|

I'm sorry the last gen guys haven't even gotten the game yet, that does suck, but it doesn't diminish the fact that we have paid for as product and are getting shafted when the larger communities who have paid the same are not. I totally agree its BS that they keep delaying last gen releases, etc, but, be that as it may, it does not in any way diminish the PC players being treated like crap over this. We paid our money, we deserve the same game the rest of the community is playing. If you decide to start a campaign contacting NRS and trying to get them to release a hard yes/no/when on last gen consoles, I will be glad to lend what little support I can.

As to tweeting doing nothing, yes and no. Will it make them all of a sudden give a damn? Certainly not, BUT, and this has happened, literally, thousands of times on FB/Twitter/Social Media in general, with enough public pressure, NRS will have to say SOMETHING. It may be pointless corporate speak that means nothing, but maybe, just maybe, we can get at least an IDEA as to when we will be getting the patch(s) we deserve.

Think of it this way, if you have two broken fingers and I have three, does knowing I'm in greater pain than you in any way diminish your own pain? A silly example, but it makes my point. You may look at me and say "Damn, Im happy I didnt break as many fingers as he did" but even that revelation will not make you hurt one iota less.

If NRS was delaying all patches for all systems, that's one thing, but to play favorites and provide a better version of the game to a select portion of the player-base is not acceptable when we paid the same amount of money everyone else did. This is also a COMPETITIVE fighting game. I had a tournament, my first, coming at the end of the month, its a small time thing of course, but I was looking forward to attending, but it wont do me much good now, unless we get he patch asap. I'll be sitting down in front of a very different game than I've been practicing all month and facing characters that behave in different ways.

My guess is we were only brought up to parity because we had to be for the Tanya patch to drop properly, and they will damn sure shovel us DLC on time. But the patch we're missing is a VERY important patch. Its not like one or two minor tweaks to characters, its a heavy patch with some serious changes.

It is, and I play one of the characters mainly effected by it. But keep in mind that it's High Voltage not NRS that's handling the PC port.
The reason afaik that pc is behind is because NRS applies it's own stuff to console and gives the code to HVS for PC and it takes them a while to figure out how to add it as a patch from the looks of it.
Pressuring NRS with tweets might force them to talk to HVS or something but idk it'll actually change anything :|

I wouldn't be surprised if a class-action came in the near future if the last-gen ports never show and PC still remains to be shat on. If anything, WB Games is to blame as they are the publisher, not the developer.

This has been a really bad look for ports though. Seriously if you don't have the time to make a proper port yourself, either give it to someone like Iron Galaxy who has proven they're capable of it, or do not port it at all. USF4 had an abysmal launch on PS4 and was supposed to be tournament ready and playable out of the box. It wasn't, that's not good for anyone. Doesn't help Sony forced Capcom to use their third party subsidiary which gave them Other Ocean Studios and that completely fucked them up.

I cannot tell you a single port from 2008 that was not an update title or whatever that has been good for any system sans DOA5LR and Skullgirls. Okay KOF13 on PC is pretty great, but other than that? Big time publishers have been falling flat on their face.

Way I think this works, and I do have some insight on the industry, mind.
Could be wrong, but.

1. NRS is the developer, they get the actual game done. This is usually done on a MAC by the way. Just saying, so, you know, you see an important detail.
2. WB is the owner. They outsource to shitty amateur companies for 2 Koins per release or less, and they manage releases to platforms.
3. HVS is the PC version outsourced platform developer. If PC ver is shit, it's on them.

So essentially, it's WB Games being money hungry corporate dicks when they allow for a release on one platform but not on another. If I were in charge of management in that field, I'd hold back the versions and tell the motherfuckers to hurry up with the conversion. Instead, they release it earlier on the platform that is most used because they think in number$.

How, just how, with everything that has been said on the original post about the negatives of the PC port, do you manage to conclude that my problem with NRS, is the fact that my OWN computer isn't powerful enough to run it properly? I even considered mentioning in my post "my personal graphical issues aside" but cut that part out because I decided you would have to be braindead to misinterpret this.

It's clear you've got your own cemented opinions here, and stronger logic isn't going to change it, so you just go on arguing that Strawman, while deciding that $100 purchases mean nothing towards getting a suitable working product, and thinking that you nrs OWES you a last gen port for some reason or other, like that's the real crime here. NRS fully scammed you out of that $0 bro, we are guys are getting screwed far worse than PC owners right.

I literally fall into both categorys, I own the PC port but I desperately want the last gen far more. But the pricetag attached to the PC port means it deserves far more attention than it has received towards fixing the issues it has, there is no comparing this to NRS delaying a pre-gen release, that by all means they have no obligation to even provide and would be morally sound decision just to not release it at all should they so decide. Your bias is incredibly evident.

Also I will say PC Gaming has been having a bad time with optimization. I dunno why but it seems like shit is constantly not working for specific cards and I have no idea why.
