lol wtf... the only part of reptiles default costume that sucks is the way his head looks with that weird sort of ninja hood.

The only bad costume is kraken b/c well... it's not reptile anymore at that point.

Reptile is fine! Just give him more meter building options with his variations.

Thats not what keep away means. You have a fast OH, you have one of the best projectiles in the game and one of the best d3s in the game. No idea what reptile or mileena have anything to do with that.

Reptile gains a 50/50 into a full combo with a bar? What? You mean he gets an extra 10%, not even breaking the 30% bar right?

No he doesn't lol no one has your projectile game, not everyone has your meter building capacity or safeness.

Literally any of this has nothing to do with reptile.

my bad on the first one. Mistook keep away with zoning. Yeah Liu has a fast overhead. He can't convert anything of of it.

2) So? He still gets them which is sure a hell lot more than 10% chip damage.

3) But those who do, do it better with better tools on their moveset

@RM Cossner please stick with KJ and come back to play Reptile once he gets buffed and act like you were down all along. Only props you get is blasting @Tom Brady but atleast he's a character loyalist

Reptile needs help to be competitive. Kenshi just got his main source of damage on block from -23 to -9. Reptile can receive similar treatment as well.

Bottom Five atm: Reptile - Kitana - Jason - Liu Kang - Mileena (Maybe replace with Goro)

Who else has even used Reptile in tournament besides like 2 people? Ofc im sticking with kj and coming back whenever he gets better, I'm not doing another "play a bottom tier character for 2 years" again.

In case you were wondering that was indeed sarcasm. Just look at his tool set. The character has everything he could possibly need to win, and he uses all those tools well in different ways in various situations. As far as neutral goes he is among the best characters in the game, his zoning us better than most characters in this game, and he has enough offensive presence to force people to respect him enough to have to eat pressure. He can do just about anything. The only thing I really see him struggle with is getting out of solid pressure, he still has the tools they are just harder to use as most times his best option is armor. His meter building is the only other problem I can really see, it's really slow for a character who relies so heavily on it. Aside from those two things there should be no complaints from anyone in any facet of his game. He plays up to par with pretty much all the cast, and all the MU'S he does lose he doesn't lose them by much. Btw, losing a mu to a character doesn't mean that character is better, it's just a bad mu. Beating a character and being a better are two completely different things. That's not necessarily directed at you I have just seen that concept get mixed up more than a few times in this thread.

If you want at least 5 characters rep is better than here:

Feel free to pick 5 out of that list because imo reptile is better than all of them. I didn't even post up the characters who I personally think reptile is better than I probably a lot of others dont. I think you'll all start to come around and see once this game is fully fleshed out.

Lol I remember that d3 tech. But I was blown up for saying it for the same reasons people we think he is bad now. But it's whatever it doesn't matter

Let me put this in perspective. Goro has safe specials. Reptile has 0. All of his specials are full combo punishable by the entire cast and he retains the same shit specials in every variation. He now has the slowest pokes in the game and has pretty lame variations. probably the worst meter build in the game and the most reliance on meter which is absolutely crippling. This character gets punished for building meter because it's so clear he needs it. Reptile needs some work. A better forceball to compliment all of his full combo punishable specials

Of course no one should lose a third of their life bar to 50/50s the problem is that most charactrrs do just that!!! You guys keep stating I'm saying I want buffs but I repeat I really don't care. Just calling it like it is. Reptile is an honest character and nowhere near the top.

people who keep saying he is good. I challenge you to record a set against a top player who actually knows the Mu and punishes his unsafe stuff and post it here

I've used Reptile in tournament and I typically do okay/subpar. People have high expectations for me since I used to always win Injustice in my scene. Beating the likes of My God, Greggu, Pnut, BigMilk etc. typically means you're a good player.. However, I can't get a firm grip on this game with Reptile. I used Reptile while visiting a tournament in Oklahoma, but had to use Quan Chi in order to win in Grand Finals. When I play Quan I know what the game is supposed to feel like. When I play Reptile I feel like he's a great character, but slightly unfinished and not ready to compete with what most of the other cast has to offer.
