Obviously being a month behind the curve on balance and fixes to make the game, you know, work correctly is absolutely fine.
Anyone complaining about it is just a whiny bitch. Of course, why didn't anyone else see that before you?

Seriously, what makes you want to come into a thread and basically talk shit about everyone in it because they are unhappy with their purchase?

It's not the fact that people are complaining about legit stuff, it's the fact that no matter what, even when people get what they've been asking for, they still complain. And not even constructively.

And that part I understand.

Only a few hours ago it was "we'll never get a patch period," or "it'll break the game."

And now we seem to have a patch that's done a lot of stuff, didn't break the game, and still nothing but complaining.

People have a right to be unhappy with stuff that's broken, but when they are actually making progress on fixing the game and bringing it up to spec, that's a good thing.

We also know that we're going to get today's hotfixes, what we don't know is when. But it will come.

Like I said, there are a myriad of reasons for us to be unhappy. I'm utterly underwhelmed with the netcode. That said this is nothing more than a circle jerk about non-issues.

Anyway, Juxtapose said it better above... and with fewer curse words, so there's that.

Thanks :). And I don't see a need to swear at people. Again, I get why, and agree with many of the reasons, people are so upset with the PC version, the same version of the game I play.

For me, it's not what people are saying, but how, and the general lack of any positivity when good stuff does happen. That just has me shaking my head.

Like over a month ago when so many people were hardcore complaining about the lack of character walk-offs in the Character Select screen. With so many other serious issues for the game, that little cosmetic thing was such a huge deal for so many people. Shook my head.

Fuck y'all I'm having a good time in the lab with Tanya right now, the fact that we got her today at all is surprising so be thankful for that. Quan got the bat fixed too so online asshats can't just do summon>midbat x infinity...those 2 things alone are enough to put a smile on my face :D

If there's confirmation that we're getting yesterday's hotfix too (some are saying it's confirmed for today?) then we'll be all set.
The game has been running perfect for me since the last patch so I got nothing to complain about lol.

Yesterday i couldnt connect anything after kung laos b321-db1 (tempest) but today after patch i can. No idea in wich patch that got fixed though since im on pc and all.. but what im trying to say is some of the balance fixes must of made it in.

The game has performed terribly for me since launch. You think that is not a valid reason to complain? Not being able to play on the sky temple or kuatan jungle levels at the lowest possible settings is pretty damn terrible if you ask me. Let alone the matchmaking being terrible.
If I recall correctly they said we were going to get the fixes with the Tanya update. Well the Tanya update is here and I still don't see any fixes.
When I'm being told what they are going to do and when and when none of those things actually happen or solve anything I'm reserving the right to complain about it.

If you also re-read my posts, you'll see I say people have a right to be unhappy and to complain.

It's all so very confusing.
Didn't they say they were doing two patch's today?

maybe im just being a jerk, but this is unacceptable. Don't get me wrong, my tears slowly falling in to the pile of salt at my feet are doing a fat load of no-fucking-good, and NRS can smile and not give one shit in fifty, 'cause they have my money already..

But personally, I'm walking away from mkx until PC gets caught up. They won't get a penny from me in dlc, and I'll just hobble my way to SF4.

Please don't mistake this for a call to salty arms with me screaming about this and that, its just unacceptable to be treated like this as paying customers and to me, if I'm not practicing with and against the most up-to-date tactics and characters, it just ruins it for me. Not to mention the fact that this patch will seriously alter my approach to practically the whole game as it effects almost all the characters I play. Practicing and working on tech and timing and strategy and setups and yadda yadda, based on a dead version of the game is silly.

When we're caught up, I will gladly come back, and do so with a smile, but for now I'm putting down my pad, picking up my stick and heading to sf4 to continue to lose as Juri.

The only complaints that were mentioned once the patch was confirmed was that it was still so far behind the consoles.
So in that respect people aren't complaining about nothing because it's still a legit issue. You may not feel it is but others feel like it is.

I've actually seen other complaints besides just the most recent hot fixes though, but of course people will do what they do.

Well unless those posts in this thread are hidden from me I cannot see them. Since the patch was confirmed for PC the only complaints in this thread are about whether PC is still going to be a month behind or not.
I get that elsewhere people may well still be complaining but people coming in here and talking shit about the people posting in here is uncalled for.

Did you check if its not just a framedata failure? There were a few moves on release which had different data on PC/console but the move was still the same on both.

Maybe it's more like +8 but it's definitely advantage on block. Perhaps the hotfix fixes that as well?

I just got the patch, most of the thing works like a charm, sky temple also works better although still not always 60fps for me, but the things that bug me is, we don't get the latest balance patch, so now we have to wait it up until predator comes around? owh well

Let's hope it's not gonna take as much time as that cuz let's face it implementing balance updates is way easier compared to what they had to do with this patch.
I tested the new patch for a couple of player games and yeah 4 bars feels great, no idea if the memory leak is REALLY fixed gonna test that out in tomorrows stream.
So... how are things working out for you guys ?
