Arcade Legacy is home to some of the best fighting game players in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky! We invite you to join us for Thursday Fight Night at 7pm, or at our Saturday monthlies: Brutality at 7pm and Alpha Attack at 2pm.

You can learn about the next Brutality event right here on TYM at this link:

For Dayton players, there are also get togethers on Sundays at a location in Centerville, OH called Epic Loot Video Games. It is right down the strip from the original Epic Loot Comics & Games.

Our area is where the "great tournament / great experience" meme originated at PowerUp 2011. PU2011 was also the first big event for MK9 after release, and both PU2011 and PU2012 were Road to EVO events. Check out the video below from Team Spooky's channel.

Nowadays, PowerUp is a completely not for profit endeavor that asks players: What is your fighting game lifestyle? I encourage local players and beyond to participate in the following PowerUp community initiatives: PowerUp Podcast / PowerUp Freelance / PowerUp Video Content.

PowerUp's website

Keep up with the PowerUp Podcast's current season by listening to the YouTube playlist below. A new episode is recorded and released shortly after each Brutality event.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see new players and veterans at future events!

I'm lookimg for a place a can go to improve my game against other MKX players.

I live about an hour away from that Epic Loot location.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me information for this location and if there is a way to find out more on the schedule of things and what I would need to bring?

I don't want to drive am hour if nothing is happening, I just want to get better and play against others.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

@Dean Here is the Epic Loot Videogames address:
9166 Dayton-Lebanon Pike
Centerville, OH 45458

Their hours for Sunday, the day that FGC players show up, are 11am to 10pm.

If you want to get involved, I suggest joining the Dayton and Cincinnati Facebook groups, both linked in the original post. By joining, you will have access to postings that tell you when people are interested in going to Epic Loot and at what times they will be meeting up.

If you can make it to Arcade Legacy this Saturday at 7:30pm, the Brutality MKX and KI tournament series is going to be happening. You can find information about that event at this link: http://testyourmight.com/threads/may-30-2015-brutality-may-2015-cincinnati-oh.51528/

AL's address is:
662 Cincinnati Mills Dr.
Cincinnati, OH 45240

And there is a link to the Arcade Legacy website in the original post.

Hope that helps! I look forward to seeing you at a future MKX event in the Dayton / Cincinnati area! Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks for the Info!!

I have an xbone. Do they play xbone and ps4/and do I need to bring a controller?

Our scene plays on both systems, but for the upcoming Brutality event, the stream station will be XBONE all the way. Unless we get a PS4 only player in Top 3. The non-stream stations will be a mixture of PS4 and XBONE. And yes, all of these events are BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller).

@Mac Royale33 Sorry I didn't see your post until now. Sunday at Epic Loot sees more SFIV players at the moment, I believe. @Arkayne Can you shed some light on the goings on at Epic Loot recently? Thanks : )

That's great to hear, @Mac Royale33!

Brutality - June is less than 1 week away! Please, everyone, share the event with your friends and let's meet our goal of 36 entrants! http://testyourmight.com/threads/brutality-june-2015.53112/

Remember, we are playing MKX on PS4 exclusively. And never fear, because if you get knocked out of the bracket early, there is another bracket to enter later. All proceeds from that second bracket will be going to the Child's Play charity, as that is this season's charity of choice!

Brutality - June is tomorrow. The salt will flow in your veins as you face some of the best MKX competition in the tri-state area.

Tune in at 8pm to twitch.tv/arcadelegacy

For sure for sure. Every monthly I'll be there and whenever I'm not working I'll try to be at fight nights if there is MKX.
