Should Delayed Wake-Ups cost Stamina?

Alright RyRy

We all know Delayed wake ups are amazing in this game, no questions about that. They give you an upperhand after a combo if you get knocked down.

But what is there was a factor where it cost stamina (It would be as if you are running, so the longer you stay the more stamina goes away)

Just a question / Idea please discuss.

Just for the record, I am fine with the way it is.

gotta stay sharp!
No, defensive characters would get shafted. Even more. Not only did I just get knocked down, waking up is risky, and now I have to use stamina to get up and still potentially eat a combo with no breaker possible.

Noooo way. They're a great defense against 50/50's on knockdown. Let's not buff 50/50's. Please. Also if the the delayed wake up (costs stamina) gets stuffed and you need to break, tough luck. Stamina is too important in this game for something else essential to gameplay to drain it.

EDIT: @bdizzle2700 be reading my mind.

I like the fact that they don't use any stamina, besides I would hate to lose a bar only to use more of my stamina bar for LBCs after wake up

no, you already have to commit to a delayed wakeup and your not able to backdash or tech roll after a delayed wakeup so if your opponent reads it you have to sit there and guess. There is no point in making it cost resources if it already limits your options.

No, I don't like it. Stamina already feels like a fleeting resource in some matchups and situations. I like the idea and see what you're sayin'.... but naw.

Yes, because knockdown situations in this game aren't in favor of the aggressor enough, let's limit defensive options even more. That should make 50/50's easier to handle.

On a side note, fuck no.
The lolz that have just escaped my mouth were enjoyable. Thank you.
