Games with bad online tend to die alot faster... I give MKX online about 6 months till it dies out unless they do something to improve the input lag

PC games tend to last longer because of the vast patchability. I'd just prefer not to have to wait half a year to be able to play this game.

You think you bad? You aint bad.
Hopefully maybe just dies online. Not saying i want it to. But if anything just because the online isnt giving anyone a good time at all.

But the offline communities in the area can keep it alive. I Wish NC had a scene

It isn't really losing that many players.

It is down from launch, but that is to be expected (check literally any other fighting game to see that) as the casuals blow through single player stuff and uninstall it.

In my very limited experience, most people are now restricting them to players they know have good connections as online is literally unplayable most of the time for many of us.

I think you'll see some rebound, and I don't think the community will die off quite as fast as others are predicting. SFIV players dealt with a shitload of online issues upon moving to Steam, and it's clearly not going anywhere. MK is a fairly strong IP, so they'll always have draw.

That said, we won't stick around forever, so they do have to make consistent progress. Even if no single patch gets us there (spoiler alert: it won't), there has to be movement forward.

But guise...Pc Masterrace hurrr durr. Sorry couldn't resist. :joker:
is not the platform's fault, if a dev don't know how to use its power..... + MKX is alot cheaper on PC anyways... if i had waited a week before launch, i could get the premium edition for 40 bucks.... well, it doesn't matter now..... lol

Played post patch online yesterday, that was my second time playing it - and that was decent as long as you don't play Sky Temple. Euro room showed 94 players + tons of other 1-10ppl rooms. Played prepatch ranked at launch - it was ok as I remember.

I've been meaning to find people to play against online, also for the few tower challenge achievements. I'm just a bit scared of it, no real logical reason. But just for fun matches, I'd be fine with finding players who are worse so they can learn from me, and people who are better than me so I can learn. But compared to this community, I'm guessing I'm not that good.

I always find people to play, was on it all night last night. But yeah, its probably hardly at console-level popularity.
I'm yet to login and not find matches within a minute or so.

I do find people online, but there's always problems. I've had literally one match which seemed to go perfectly, no lag or anything. Most are a bit laggy, not too badly, but it affects combos and blocking etc.

I've had a match once where there was a full second delay, horrible. Another guy I played were matches in slow motion, was kind of cool, but it wears off quickly :p

Patches on PC are garbage and if NRS had enough common sense they would HOLD all of their patches on PS4/XB1 until it's patched on PC too.

I was super excited for mkx on PC, now I rarely play it.

Why should console people suffer just because the PC guys are?

Screw that, I've always loved the fact that for most multi-platform games PC patches hit first because we don't have to wait for console certification. If we don't have to wait for console cert they shouldn't have to wait for us in the rare case where a game company does shit complete ass backwards and release PC patches late
