Quan Chi's fortress because of the sweet guitar licks during the win pose, and then all infected maps. The color scheme looks so kool.

so the stage with Blanche and the stage where they are building that Kotal Khan statue (the one with the shield interacble)... I forget their names...


I hate the Sky temple stage .. Its awesome as far as the idea behind it but that lighting strike fucks me up big time and its really dark.... Even the training stage on the far right is super dark...

Actually I can see the Sky temple being banned maybe... It looks amazing but at the high level and offline that lightning strike

My PC has the required specs to play mkx, there's no reason it shouldn't be able to play sky temple.

The thing about requirements since like the beginning of the concept is that "system meets requirements" usually means "it will launch, will kinda work, maybe you'll have slowdowns here and there, I dunno, but everything else should be generally fine".

My old rig was mostly above listed minimum and kinda below recommended, game was, in a sense, barely working on settings that are below possible minimum (meaning I had to tinker with control panel in addition to in-game settings).

Here by "barely working" I mean "wasn't sometimes providing 60 fps and was consistently below them (like 40-50) on Sky Temple" - in other words, for any other genre it would mean it's working great and I could set higher settings. But not for FGs. I doubt that when devs were listing minimum requirements they meant "will run at 60 FPS with settings at minimum with this hardware".

So there's that.

I dont know the maps name, you can switch the maps color to a red fog and red rain aswell, its even worser that way.

I was just referencing story mod fight with Rain in Jungle.

I'm surprise that the sky temple is getting some hate. It's my favorite stage, simply from the visuals and effects (although I sometimes encounter slow down on that stage, I do get a lot of decent matches).

I also like the Kove, Kuatan Jungle, and market place. But really, every stage is good IMO. Least favorite would be like in any fighting game, the training room.

I voted for The Kove because it's simply beautiful, beautifully done & has an old skool MK look to it.

I really like Dead Woods, for the klassic feel & the Sky Temple too.

I love the Sky Temple, its the best stage in the game by miles in my opinion. It's just so fucking awesome, it looks like the cover art to a Dragonforce concept album about Bruce Lee movies.

The worst is the City. It's just kinda dull. Though the Refugee Kamp isn't much better. Training Stage is rescued by the holograms and the screens in the back.

I guess I'm just biased towards that whole Asian mythology mixed with metal vibe. I mean Deception and Deadly Alliance are still my two favourite games from an aesthetic point of view cos they felt really Asian myth-meets 70s kung fu movie with stages like the Falling Cliffs and the Lava Shrine providing the metal vibe. So stages like the Sky Temple and Quan Chi's Fortress really float my boat.

The Kove too, though I think I like the concept more than the execution. Dead Woods and Jungle are great cos they feel like a fight should happen there in a 70s kung fu movie. Marketplace and Courtyard don't do much more for me I have to admit. Krossroads is great but I think it could feel more active to me, like I'd prefer to have demons and shit crawling over rocks and oni torturing someone. Really go for the Aligherian hell to contrast with Quan's library meets science lab meets hell-palace

1. It's blue and it matches Cassie's outfit.
2. It reminds me of the regeneration tank Goku used on Planet Namek after fighting Captain Ginyu.
