To all you people complaining about this thread, quit being whiny babies. No one cares if this thread makes you butthurt for some reason. I'm sick of your elitist prick remarks, and I'm sure others are too.

It's a normal topic to debate which characters are more auto-pilot oriented and which are more strategic, and knowledge can be gained from discussing it. I commend the OP for having the guts to bring up the topic to be discussed.

While I disagree with the thread. I STRONGLY agree with everything that was just said.

He clearly just wanted a fun discussion but people's heads are too far up their asses to see that.

Its not elitist to say this is a stupid thread, because it is. Any character can be played flowchart and any character can be played honest, it doesnt matter. If he wants to discuss how good or bad characters are there are better ways to do that.

Plus the chart itself is kind of a joke. None of Dvorah's three variations are honest in any sense of the word, and claiming Goro is flowchart is legitimately funny. People arent mad at what he is trying to discuss, people are mad because there is absolutely no point in discussing it.

Agreed. 3 strikes for me here:

#1. Honesty doesn't exist in this context
#2. No explanation or extrapolation as to why a character is where they are
#3. Having the gall to call Goro flowchart

This thread isn't discussing which characters are good or bad. Did you even read the OP where he said this is not a tier list? It's about discussing flowchart vs. honest. You could argue that all characters can be played in a flowchart manner, but certain characters excel at it way more than others.

Whether or not his chart was a joke doesn't matter. It was simply his opinion and he opened up the thread to discuss other's opinions. Apparently you actually have your own opinions but you still think the thread is pointless. It's a thread with a legitimate subject that people can discuss. Many people find it to be an entertaining topic. If you don't, then just be on your merry way and quit derailing the thread. What you and others are doing is basically just a form of trolling.

Saying a character is flow chart is basically a not so subtle insult at the players of those characters. If you want to get down to the real reason the thread was made, that was it. If someone plays a "flowchart" anything they will get wrecked by a top player who can pick up their patterns. People like to call other characters flowchart when they cant find ways to beat them, that way they feel better about their losses.

well I think you're just too sensitive about the word flowchart. It's easy enough to discuss without being butthurt what characters can strongly fall into a flowchart category, whether it be autopilot vortexes or whatever. Lighten up.

It's a completely & totally pointless descriptor in the first palce that does nothing but make people think having strong mixup/oki is something to look down on. And once again Honest is a pointless descriptor in fighting games because it doesn't exist.

And maybe you are being to sensitive about "elitist" posts.

If he really wanted discussion, he should have at least put reasons why characters are where they are.
