That Jax is arguably top 5? I've had some time with him now and I don't see much where he excels over the cast, and I'm hoping I'm missing something.

No I'm not dropping Jax or calling for buffs I just truly feel like I am missing something everybody else is seeing.

His midscreen damage leaves something to be desired unless you're offline. There's characters with far better block strings and pressure. Raidens corner game is just as good if not arguably better! Let me know what you guys think.

your "unless your offline" quote speaks for itself. we do not base character placement based online or how hard something is to execute. jax hits your midscreen and corner carries you from almost anywhere on screen, he does about 38% if you out footsies your opponent one bar from f21 overhead ex dash punch. then in the corner off low he gets 50% on bar easily and 48% off the the overhead. in wrestler he can tick throw into 18% off a d1 or d1d2 etc. f3 is a ridiculous counter poke that leads to big damage. heavy weapons is ridiculous cancel pressure. i think he is in hte discussion at this point for top 5. he has great wake up options, great anti air, good knockdown pressure and he has a great projectile. the only troublesome MI i can foresee is imposter shinnok being able to do huge damage from one touch because he steals groundpound from all variations i think.

He's got really good pressure especially in Heavy Weapons, a good 50-50...I mean what's not to like about him? I get the inconsistent conversions are a turn off to people, but he's built pretty damn well despite that.

50% off one bar easily? The most I can get is 46% in pumped up but I'm not expert. Care to share?

Nice yeah I just took it into the lab, I can get it about 7/10 times. The timing on the 124 needs some practicing.

Sorry to hear that. Doesn't mean that you can qualify statements with 'unless you're offline'. For the purposes of competitive fighting games, you have to assume it's in the optimal setting for the game i.e. offline

No. Just wondering where he excels most as meterless mid screen damage is tough to come by as Jax. Again, I am not complaining. I know I'm missing something just looking for what.
