You have to hit through the armor 5 times.

Then after that you can do combos and whatnot.

The key is to use either pokes or normals just to break the armor the fastest/easiest.

Also, once the armor is broken I noticed the AI difficulty goes does, just a tad though.

I got like 141 with Ermac.

Should be easier with Jason since his unstoppable special move has crazy armor.

All the Invasion bosses are insane IMO. It's fun for a minute, then you get your ass beat over and over and over.

Only reason I'm doing them is for the 1,000 hit trophy. After that, never again.

Yeah, I mean you're getting your ass handed to you, regardless. It's just a matter of delaying that ass-whooping as long as possible.

It's frustrating for sure after 5-6 matches.

I got 80 then got 90 a few matches later. It is completely luck if you break that armor the you can do something

Once the armor is broken, it's really easy. The problem is by the time you break the armor (unless you're just a beast or get lucky), you've usually only got 40-20% health left. At least for me that seems to be the pattern.

Use Raiden and his Thunder God or Master of Storms variation. Whichever one has that one string where he hits you with a lot of electricity from his hands, teleports and does it again. It's a massive armor breaker against the Invasion boss and if you're lucky enough, you can keep hitting it with them from time to time.

I don't know if blocked attacks count as hits, 'cause I've done "massive damage" to bosses before and they've done nothing but block the Hand Cannon from Full Auto Jacqui the entire time. I actually do more damage via them blocking than actually hitting them.

Interesting, that hand shock from Raiden is a bitch to play against. I'll try it.

I've been just doing crazy mix-up attempts. but you can't fool the AI, just like in Injustice. Godly-unhuman input reads.

Armored Punch Walk with Goro gives moderate success to break the invasion boss armor.

I tried the EX Punch Walk and it indeed does pretty well. Sometimes it'll be all block, sometimes you'll catch them. But it's easier than me dive-kicking and teleporting everywhere with KL lol.

Liu's Bicycle Punch all day. But yeah, once I get the 1000 hits trophy (one of my last two along with 1000 KOTH points thanks to the salt levels online), I'm not touching it again

Same here. There's no point in dealing with that shit after you get the trophy.

This whole faction war thing is really useless to be honest.

My go to invasion boss fighter is Goro, far hitting and fairly fast lows, plus armored punch walk are good at breaking the armor- and Shinnok was free against ground pound and punch walk after that.
