after NRS buffs Kotal ofc, I don't want him to stay Pacquiao tier when the big boy shows up

I love Shao, he's easily one of my favourite MK characters. That said, Smoke Fujin Rain Havik and Reiko all deserve DLC spots ahead of the true Emperor. I love Shao but leave him alone for a few games. He had a perfect showing in MK9, leave him out of this one and let Shinnok have his time as the big bad without the series most iconic villain overshadowing him.

Besides, that way when Shao resurrects at the end of MK11 after the Special Forces kids have to take down Raiden cos he cos all wannabe-Kahn it'll have more impact.

This is, in the most literal sense, absolutely false. I don't know why manny fans thought he had a chance in the first place, or why they keep crying about it after he was already outboxed handily

I'd like to play as Shao Kahn in MKX. Would be super cool to have him next year or something though, projecting that MKX will release new characters in a similar fashion to League of Legends.

Shang Tsung? Only if he's wearing a loincloth.

Seriously, It really wouldn't fit Shang Tsung. His MK9 design for both his old and young version was really well done IMO.
