How do I get the AI in practice mode to perform specific moves on me repeatedly?

How do I get the AI in practice mode to perform specific moves on me repeatedly?

Record those specific moves and play them back.

I have to perform those moves myself? Do I have to have 2 controllers plugged in? It doesnt let me record human... else im missing something. Can i get the step by step instructions for recording myself?

I havent tried it in MKX, but in SF you just go to AI options and change it from stand, go past jump, and find record. When you exit that menu you'll have a small time frame to record. When you've done the move you want the opponent to do, go back into the menu and change in to playback (or whatever its called) and the AI will do whatever u did.
