That's because I am, I play Necromancer Shinnok and I don't want you anywhere near me. To me, fighting games are more of an exercise of the brain. If I'm getting zoned out, I never complain. Because that's just how you play fighting games, you learn how to adapt and manifest. If you lose to zoning, you lost to a better player, no option selects for excuses. The game is way more about combos, it's about neutral, spacing, whiff punishing, making reads on your opponent.
In short, get good. This may sound cold, but I was told the same shit when I was starting to play MK9 at 19. Now I'm 23, and love fighting games more than anything else in the world.
