There should be an Indianapolis FGC group on FB. Looks like we got around 10 guys in the area that want to play which is freakin sweet.

Update: Comic Book University is sadly a no go for us due to their lease not allowing them to do electronic events, (not sure why.) Today I went to 2 different card shops and they don't have any open days for us but I am in the process of speaking with the secretary of the Christ United Methodist Church on the southside of Indianapolis near the Greenwood Park Mall. Fingers crossed!

If anyone wants to meet up somewhere on the day of release to play let me know. I have that whole day off and have two copies of the game.

Dude i'm MORE than down to play on release! I have that day off too!
Also keep in touch on venues so that we can try to get other games there. I'm also a part of the King of Fighters group and we want to try and find a place

Awesome man just PM so I can get your number or I can add you on FB. If anyone else wishes to play day 1 feel free to let me know. If I have enough money left over I will try and get my PS4 copy paid off. The only reason I have my XB1 copy paid off first is because of the ESL tournaments but yeah I tried Gamerz, Game Preserve, and Comic University and all of them couldn't give us a day or weren't allowed but there are still a few other places I had in mind. The church secretary e-mailed me back saying she will look it over with 3 other people but she said she personally wouldn't mind lending us a room every Sunday for maybe 5-6 hours so long as we all donate $5.00 which to me didn't seem like a problem.

@F4tal @WynterEnd I live in Greenwood. I play KOF with @NB|MexiKen and we will be learning MKX. We try and meet up once a week to play (we played last night) dependent on work schedule. We should be having another meetup on Saturday. I am not working right now so I am pretty much free all week so if you guys want to play send me a message.

Any luck with offline gatherings not in Greenwood? Lol. Bit of a trip for me. Anyone in the Carmel, Fishers or Noblesville area? Any progress on anything in downtown indy even?

We now have a new place for weeklies again. It is the eBash in Castleton, every Sunday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be a $5 venue fee for the entire day. The first weekly session will be this Sunday, May 10th.

The address for eBash is:

What time do you have to be there cause on Sunday I get off work at 630
All I know is that the session will be from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm every Sunday. I don't think that there is any specific set time that you have to be there. Unless they decide that they want to start doing tournaments or something.

This is awesome for our scene. It seems like we have a lot of guys in Indianapolis that really want to level up and that's awesome. As far as other meet ups go, I will more than likely make the commute to GGA every Thursday starting after Combo Breaker if anyone wants to car pool.

Did they determine xbox 1 or ps4 ? Or is it going to vary based on whose going?
Majority of players are encouraged to bring their own personal set ups so multiple people can play different games, or at the very least are not left standing and watching others play if they themselves want to get some games.

Regardless if you choose to bring a set up or not, you should always bring a controller with you. Some people only play on sticks. But I believe on average most use Sony consoles.

Just had our first weekly event at eBash in Castleton. A very nice venue with a decent turn out! Hoping that this will continue (and improve) every Sunday. Place even provides their own monitors (Asus-equivalent). I would recommend still bringing your own consoles / controllers / games.

Had 12 players for the first weekly MK X tournament. Let's see if we can get that number even higher!

Just moved to Indy and literally know absolutely nothing about the FGC. Any Indy players on TYM?

What's up, dude. We have several Indy players here on TYM which are myself, @RagingRicans, and @BloodyNights

On the first Saturday of every month (usually), we have a monthly called "Godlike Saturdays". Our next one is coming up on October 10th. It takes place at an arcade called "Tilt Studios", which is located on the top floor of the Circle Center mall. Here's the TYM thread for this upcoming Godlike: http://www.testyourmight.com/thread...s-october-2015-edition-indianapolis-in.56099/

Also in November, we have our big annual regional called Naptown Clutch. This year marks the fifth Naptown Clutch. This used to also take place at Tilt Studios. However, with the crazy amount of growth of attendees that we've been seeing every year: we have moved this event to the Indianapolis Convention Center. The TYM thread for it is: http://www.testyourmight.com/threads/nov-7-2015-naptown-clutch-v-indianapolis-in.54772/

ANNND we usually hold a weekly event every Sunday at a gaming "cafe" in Castleton called "eBash". Here's the Facebook link for this Sunday's weekly: https://www.facebook.com/events/1266101240072707/

And that's pretty much it! Most of our FGC scene here is more dedicated to Marvel and Street Fighter, but we definitely have some MK X players here in the area as well.
