I don't think I have tbh, I went and pulled the lever, saw the chest appear and I haven't been able to open it since.
i have 4 chests that are bugged like that. i have unlocked the entire krypt and have gotten everything from the gambling statue (it just gives me money now) and the only thing i'm missing in my kollektion are a few revenant skins which i doubt are in those boxes. so they probably have been opened before and are just reappearing.
It's possible that it wasnt 3gb. My download did not take long but for some reason it said it was 3.167 gb.3GB for that? And there's supposedly ANOTHER update this weekend? What complete bullshit.
This game isn't even out a month and we already have 3 huge patches out with a 4th coming out this weekend. I don't want to keep downloading patches for MKX every single damn week. ESPECIALLY if they're going to be over 2GB big.
Well either I'm very lucky, cause I was able to purchase each one that doesn't open (and I'm sure I've opened them before), or you guys opened them before and you don't remember. I hope it's the latter, and it probably is.
I had that happen to me on the PS4 and I just downloaded the file all over again.

Stop defending them.Ofcourse it is their fault.They let HVS port a 3rd game even though they are notorious for the previous 2 games.Its unacceptable.You have no idea how different MKX on PC is from consoles,while it shouldn't be.
While I completely agree with u that this is indeed also a NRS fault in the first place for calling HVS on PC port, but Imo the difference between PS4/PC, when it comes to online, isn't that big. Some people who own both copies (@Immortal) are saying that online is pretty much the same on both platforms. But PC is hands down the worst, I agree. That 1sec input delays lol.
You guys do realize that NRS have no real say on who, when, how does those ports, as well as what platforms they are doing them for?
And you do release that just because WB is a publisher it doesn't change the fact that if NRS wanted to, they could have also done the PC version of the game like most companies do? It's pretty obvious that NRS wanted to focus and make the best possible version for consoles. That's were HVS comes for a 'help' to make the PC port..
They still have to abide by deadlines and funding. Get additional staff for porting? It's up to WB. Do it with what you have? WB is to approve months of development time (and money again) as well.
LOL What? Read what's written above, nobody is talking about how well or not WB is doing financially, but rather about how shitty PC port got since NRS abandoned this in the first place.
*Sight* Yet somehow other respectable companies do not disregard PC version and consider them just as important as any other platform that the game is made on. Instead of you know... "Hey WB, just give that port to HVS, we don't have time and enthusiasm for this third party PC port."
Spot on.This is what angers me the most,that NRS don't really care about PC but at the same time our money go to them.NRS seem to think that if they let some incompetent programmers port the game no one will notice how bad it is.
Or if you as a company want to be respected by both parties, just make a decent port so that everyone could enjoy the game equally and at the same time make new possible costumers for your future titles. You know, a simple yet perfect business practice that works in gaming industry.
Yeah, this too. However it's surprising how MK9 online runs shitload of times more smoother than MKX lol (atleast to me and other masses of ppl on Steam forums).

You can always grab "free demo version" first. That's what people generally do. Online works there too once established.

Dunno whether u just don't get the point or u just feel good for a company that sells u a complete garbage port and asks u to become it's beta tester, while at the same time also gets ur money. Fact is that NRS, unlike other companies, fucked up pretty hard when it comes to making equally good product for different platforms and at the same time lost any remaining respect towards them from PC community (metacritic, steam forums etc) which, as business practice shows, is never good for any company.

I agree that u can just get "free demo" as it's really probably the smartest thing to do, but usally online features for such "free demos" are not possible. And I only care about online in MK because there's no other way for me to play this game here where I live since there are no locals / interest in it.
