This is a thread to discuss the Hourly, Daily and Premier towers. Which one was you favorite, which one has been your least favorite. Speculation on what future Premier towers will focus on. Though we can make a good guess going by some of the Icon and backgrounds we can unlock.

Speaking of Premier towers, today is the last day of the Goro tower. I wonder if well get the MK1 tower or the Jason tower next.

It keeps saying "No living towers available. Please check back another time." I don't have a PS Plus account so is that part of the problem?

I have a question someone might have the answer to. Does anyone know how to trigger the secret fight in the towers? There is a trophy for it and all I have heard so far is people are assuming it can happen during an invasion. Does anyone have any info?

Just started playing Towers during my non-practice time. Fuuuuck the "Don't Duck" tower. The damage done by ducking becomes reeeediculous. If you're using a character that has DF/DB inputs then you can only safely use them in strings, otherwise chances are you'll input a duck and take massive damage. Was an Hourly Tower, finished it and didn't attempt again.

That's likely the issue as the Living towers are sync'd with game online data.

Yeah. The hilarious part was near the end i got a dragon challenge where i had to duck a number of times during a round. I ended up ignoring it.

Haha, I'm under the impression that the Dragon Challenges are randomly selected. I was playing through today's Daily last night, which is both fighters have 10% life. The Dragon challenge that came up was "Land 5 front kick attacks in one round and win the match.", I quickly realized that it was impossible as two kicks of nearly any kind would end the round.

If I remember, I'll give it a shot tonight. Once with the network connection disabled and once with it enabled but on an account with no PS+.

i just got the secret fight during the premiere mk1 tower today. was vs reptile. don't know exactly what triggered it but i'm assuming it's a certain number of fatalities since i got it like midway through the tower and not near the end. also had a lot of flawless victories. and was playing with klassic sub-zero. (note: not all my matches were flawless. and i ended 1 match with a brutality instead of a fatality.)

also he was pretty tough. kicked my ass. no retries :(

should have it recorded on my ps4 if people can't reproduce and want to analyze .

I miss the challenge tower from MK9. I know I probably just come off as complaining...but the living towers just don't even compare for me.

Had the tilting on the dock stage once with hyper speed and had to leave the room... Stuff never effects me like that but that was just too much...

Makes sense, since the tower is a reference to MK1.

Did you get a double flawless? Maybe that triggered it.

i dont have xbox live gold but i do have xbox live free and it seems to work fine which surprises me

i did not get a double flawless. (also my fatality level increased to level 8 during that final fatality before the secret fight. probably a coincidence though)

I hear that you get it by getting a flawless on the 6th fight and performing a fatality or brutality.

From Reddit thread that's labeled as "100% confirmed"
After reading through different methods and posts, I can 100% confirm how to unlock the secret fight:

1.) Must be playing the PREMIER TOWER 2.) Only can be accomplished on FIGHT 6 3.) You must produce ONE flawless victory and finish the match with a FATALITY! It does not matter what round you achieve the flawless on! 4.) After fatality is complete, you will receive a notification that you have found a hidden fight! 5.) Fight Reptile and enjoy!!

UPDATE WITH VIDEO:

Hope this clarifies for everyone!

UPDATE #2: I'm receiving messages and feedback that it can be completed with a brutality and/or faction kill. PLEASE NOTE that I have not tested this method and utilize at your own caution!

UPDATE #3: People are reporting that the secret fight can be unlocked without a fatality (just one flawless round). Again, I have not tried this, so try at your own risk!

The modifier that blackens the screen in a strobe like manner is ridiculous. It does not seem to be very healthy to play an entire tower like that. I felt so sick after doing one, played the last couple matches looking away from the screen. I refuse to play when that modifier is on in a living tower.

The current daily tower "Power of Khan", is a goldmine for farming Koins. Just pick a character with massive damage buffs, activate them during the match with no punishment (you have constant armor in this tower), and keep farming those 50 Koin combos. The best example I can think of is Blood God Kotal Khan with Crystal Totem along with Blood Sacrifice for super easy 50% damage combos (you don't want to go overboard, the max reward is 50 Koins).
