Good character for lots of pressure?

I played 4 characters in MK 9 - Kabal, Kung lao, Johnny Cage, and Reptile. I really only enjoy playing characters that can get in your face and put up a lot of pressure. I've learned Kung Lao so far and I am looking to find a second character to play. Kung Lao was nerfed hard in MK X. Johnny Cage plays nothing like MK 9 and Reptile's dash is slower than MK 9, and plus everyone can just run now so it isn't a unique way to move around the screen. I really find vortex characters with a teleport to be stupidly cheap and lame to play (Scorpion, Takeda, Ermac). Anyone got an ideas who I should play?

Give jax a shot, I think you will like what he has to offer. He's fast, has insane corner carry, and a decent high low game. Check out the jax forum and get started.

i dont think youre gonna like MKX's meta, so far it seems like its gonna be all about the 50/50 vortex's after standing resets for a lot of people.

that and a heavy footsie game.

Looking a new character myself, I use Scorpion & Ermac a bit but I'd really like to use a new character but can't find 1 that appeals to me yet. I too used Reptile in MK9, & just pressured non stop but in MKX his weaponry has changed massively & he looks nothing like I'd hoped for.

Goro, he is the closest to Johnny from MK9 that I can find. Jax is a good choice also.

Most of the characters have good pressure i think but i'd say go for Pumped Jax or Outlaw Erron.

Yeah I had a feeling it would be. NRS's idea of fun is watching your character eat a 30-40% combo into a 50/50 reset. Anyways, thanks everyone for the help! I'll try out Jax and Erron Black and see who I like the most.

I play Jax, Erron black, and kung jin. They are awesome.

Believe it or not but Im finding the cryomancer variation of Sub Zero is decent for pressure

everyone keeps saying jax is a pressure monster... I don't see how

can someone explain why he lends himself so well to pressure?
