He had the DEVELOPER icon background and a solid gold netherrealm icon.

He used Kung Jin! *grinds teeth*



And........

I got my first QUITALITY!

A friend of mines were asking if they were in the game, and yes, this proves it!

Nice, thats th dev I saw play Sonicfox on his stream the other night. He beat foxs cassie but then got destroyed by his Erron Black, they got ranked up 3x in a row.

Thanks guys, I gotta rep Quan Chi to the fullest since he's an underrated character online.

He has a lot of bad matchups in this game. Sometimes I gotta "zone" a bit to win. Lol

Clearly you can see that the regionlock was a very well thought out thing... considering the netcode of this game i personally would not wish it on you and the poor dev back in the US that match, but it still sucks big time that ppl on ps4 living in Europe cant 1. have the chance to fight a dev which in it self is an interesting dev/community experience and 2. complete the achivement to get full plat on this game...

there is no achievement to defeat an developer (if you mean thropys)
but i agree, i am an german ps4 player and not have the chance to get that is kinda sad but nothing to special

In all honesty, devs like Hector Sanchez from MK9 and those two guys from the MKX streams absolutely suck at the games they test/make. So there's that.

in all Honesty it really doesnt affect me, but lets say i would really really like to get that emblem or whatever the proper name is, i would not be able to, because ps4 is region locked. If your going to region lock something make it count for both systems or none at all, it just feels EU Ps4 users are buying less of a game everytime. Im not 100% sure who made the call on this (Sony/NRS) but it feels like ps4 users are due an explanation... anyway we are not getting one and im veering off topic, apologies.

My comment was actually meant to the OP who seemed all "YAY I BEAT A DEVELOPER THAT MUST BE SO HARD HUH!!!!!!", not the poor souls from EU who can't play devs because of a stupid region lock. You guys have my sympathy.
