Any players in The Newark & Elizabeth NJ area?

Just wanted to If there were any players around these areas that would enjoy a local offline bout since the online (Well at least for me) is kinda slow?

Paterson, NJ is also good for me as far as travel as well but I'm just asking this because I would love to play some offline matches with a few of the users within the area beside what I've already said about my online and also because it's a whole other competitive atmosphere when actually playing the opponent face to face rather than online.

Forgive me if this sounds like a creepy question but this is my first time asking something like this on the site and was just curious.

Guys, me and my team will be holding a monthly in Kinnelon Mall in Kinnelon, NJ. We actually will be having our first MKX tourney tomorrow if anyone in the area is interested. I know it's super late info, but if you are free and really want to get good at this game, come over and have some fun with us. Just to let you know, we will be running MKX on the Xbox One. So make sure to have either an Xbox One controller or other means of playing.

I'm a town over from Berkeley Heights and I'm trying to find a good group of offline MKX (as well as other fighting games) players to hang out, practice, and play with. I can travel, but I'm looking to stay as close as possible to my general area. MKX is my first MK that I'm really getting into other than playing the original, MK2, & MK3 growing up and online is really frustrating me because I feel like I am getting beat by people I know I could beat offline. If anyone is interested in getting a group of players together around this area let me know. I'm really loving MKX and I wanna' get as good as I possibly can. I guess I should also note that I'm a serious fighting game player, I watch a lot of match videos and read a lot about tech and I'm looking for people that are the same way so we can really get good and share tech and learn match-ups and help each other evolve our game. I've been trying to get into the fgc for a while but I just haven't found a place to connect and meet people in the area. I encourage people to message me and we can talk and share some ideas.

I'm definitely going to come down. I used to go to The Break all the time back when MvC2 was popular in the arcades before it was released on consoles and we would go for the DDR machines, too because they had quite a few of them and had hosted some DDR tournaments, as well. I haven't been there in years.
