Cassie, Erron and Sub Zero are who I've noticed as really strong so far. Kung Lao, Takeda, Scorpion and Liu Kang also look quite solid.

I'll tell you who ISN'T strong right now, Kano. Nothing strong about him in ANY way, no reason to be "normalized". #Dontnerfkano

My Kano doesn't seem to have problems with Cassie's though. Why is she considered strong? I understand Erron Black having played him myself but Cassie?

I don't think any of yo have witnessed the ass devastating violation of a good master of souls Ermac player.

That shit is infuriating, easy mac to the nth degree.

By far the most frustrating character i've dealt with in the game thus far.


Other than that, Erron, Jax, Takeda, Scorpion, and Lou Kong see super legit this time around.


There are quite a few characters I haven't seen at all online yet, so I feel like there's a real sleeper I don't know about yet.

That Ferra/Torr is a sleeper powerhouse though, so powerful that no one wants to play as them.

i think both are good but not great but i have not had much time with either, i agree about that thread though

Liu " I am save on everything " Kang lol
tbh from what I have seen and experienced so far Scorp, Subzero, Goro and ye maybe Error seem quite strong in MKX
but with time passing ppl will figure out more new techs / anti air techs so the top tiers will change quite a bit

I think that any character that can punish with 25% or more without meter looks strong, it also helps to have a good anti-air, mix ups, and some resets to go with the damage though. Out of the characters I've trained with so far I would have to say Mileena looks the strongest. (She's the only one I trained with so far) haha
