Thank you! I'm still kind of new too PCs, so i don't know what does what, but i am learning. That's a super solid computer, you shouldn't have any problems.
Now to get MKX and a controller!!

I had to also unplug my mouse in order for this to work. Just a heads up for anyone else!Workaround for the button mapping crashing:
1. Close MKX completely.
2. Unplug your keyboard.
3. Plug in your pad (if it isn't already).
4. Start MKX and re-map your buttons.
5. Close MKX.
6. Plug your keyboard back in.
You are good to go from now on. Apparently the crashing happens whenever two controllers are plugged in.
AMD Athlon II X4 640^ Your CPU and GPU?
Regarding the 1600*900 resolution not showing fullscreen, that may be a monitor setting on the actual device. You should have scaling enabled on your monitor, if it only displays the 'native' resolution it won't show up as fullscreen.Note GeForce Experience detects and has a profile for the game with the latest drivers released this past Monday, the Grand Theft Auto V ones. I Optimize the settings, but still have the frame rate issues. I run my PC at 1920x1080 resolution, however GeForce Experience recommends I play Mortal Kombat X at 1600x900. Optimal settings does not seem to be able to force the resolution change in-game. When I manually change the resolution in-game, it does not display 1600x900 in full screen, but oddly there's a "black box" around the image, so both letter and pillar boxing.
Does anyone know how to change this from in-game? I do have the option properly set for Full Screen as opposed to Windowed. I have not tried changing my PC's default display to 1600x900, which could be a workaround that I'll try later.
Also, does anyone know how to disable vsync in-game, as I can't find the option? When I get to tinkering with settings, I'll also try removing FOV and a few other options others have suggested a few pages back in this thread, though GeForce Experience says those are fine to have enabled under Optimal Settings.
Omg this is the first thing I will do when I get home. I can't tell you how annoying it has been to have release check forced upon me these last few days. I don't even know why it is an option to have it on. It's like having an option in button mapping that says "Constantly Fuck Up Your Inputs: ON"Workaround for the button mapping crashing:

I can get the game running absolutely fine when I drop the res to 720p, but the image was misaligned with my screen.Hey all,
Optimal settings does not seem to be able to force the resolution change in-game.

Thanks for the reply man, I'm just about to tinker with my settings .I can get the game running absolutely fine when I drop the res to 720p, but the image was misaligned with my screen.
Echoing what @reptar said above,I had to actually change the settings on the TV (or monitor) itself There was an auto scan option where it naturally found and honed in on the new resolution. So maybe try applying the 1600*900 res, then dig about with your monitor/TV controls, to find an auto adjust or similar option, this may get you a handshake between the two.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.
Have you tried lowering the game's resolution? That's what did it for me. Dropped from 1920x1080 to 1600x900, every other setting is maxed. Game still looks gorgeous and is thus far running great.Absolutely minimal everything is STILL nigh unplayable in many stages on PC for me. 12 GB ram, windows 7 64 bit, Radeon 6800 series.

all actually.
To date I have never finished the basic Raiden combo that ends in teleport as a string and seen the teleport. It just freezes and I'm on the other side of the opponent and they have already recovered. I'm dropping frames like they didn't exist. Be a great game if it wasn't permanently frame dropping to the point of unplayability.
I got it running at 720p. Guess I'll go lower but DAMN this is not even close to respectable porting if I got to do all this.Have you tried lowering the game's resolution? That's what did it for me. Glad to hear it. Props to reptar too, who also suggested the idea.@ScreamQueen You were right, setting on my monitor. Now the image fills the screen proper and the game runs silky smooth!
It's a bug, confirmed somewhere already. Have the same thing. Oddly enough sometimes in ranked it shows me bars correctly. For some reason I show up with 3 Green Bars but everyone else is always Gray. Is this happening with anyone else? If anyone can respond that is playing the PC version I shall appreciate it!
HOW?!I run it on max settings and don't get any drops. X-ray and menus go to 30 but that's normal.
