Analyze, Look at what others are doing and learn why they are specifically putting that move in the combo. once you understand the parts of each juggle then you can break it down, reorganize, add to it etc...

There are 2 parts of the issue.

1) Understanding what you are supposed to do. Knowing how exactly buffering and cancelling work, how to optimally input runs, how input options work... All that saves a lot of time you would otherwise spend on figuring stuff out experimentally.

2) Well, practice ofc.

It will be great if you specify problems you personally face.

If you're new, dont start by trying to make your own combos. Go read the forums and see what others are posting and try those first.

Once you choose a combo, break it down into pieces and learn each piece, then string it together.

The most important part is to get the timing for inputs down, how to cancel from normals to specials without being sloppy, and understand gravity (since it will affect your timing during juggles).

Honestly the most important thing is learning how to even get the initial hit so that you can perform a combo that you've been practicing over and over again in training on an actual opponent.

Take it one step at a time

Be patient

Break up the combo into smaller parts and practice them until they become second nature

Piece them together to form a bigger combo

This especially. I know it can be discouraging to watch someone do something you think you'll never be able to do, but when newbs like us try a combo we can spend hours trying to do the wrong thing. I did that last night and when I saw them do a move I never tried my combo potential jumped up by 10% -_- hours were wasted.

Which brings me to my next point NEVER assume something won't connect if you think there is a .1% chance of it connecting just try it out. hit boxes can look pretty wonky and combos were originally made by putting stuff together that shouldn't have interacted that way and often times that's how the best tech and juggles are found.

The thing is, in a match opponent won't fall screen. The point of the game is to do damage in situations that occur during the game. So you don't actually need some "juggling skills", the point is to practice combos from the start, juggle if need be.

If easy combos are your current goal, find some in Jax section of this forum and try them. Go for easy strings and strings into specials first, then when you feel you can use his moves on demand, pick up something that you can't do yet and proceed to train that.

Break down hard combos into parts and do them separately, then try to put them together.

You can always set bot to jump or record jump-in and it's closest you will get to setting "damn guy to fall from the screen". Good way to practice anti-air too.

Running may be tricky at first, but you'll get it eventually if you want to.
