Literally no clue as to why many people have issues.

If there is someone who can run the game with any drops below 60 fps on the jungle map post there specs? Not sure if there is currently a optimization problem or if anyone i asked just has a to weak setup.
I run a solid 60 everywhere. I actually only have 8GB of RAM now.

Lol if this rig didn't run the game at a solid 60 fps, might as well go burn down the HVS building.

Of course you're going to get a solid 60 fps!

Seems like it is running worse for me today for some reason lol. Between the mem leak and the problem with changing controls the game is nearly unplayable for me. The default layout for TE stick is horrible its so frustrating.

A few levels have frame drop issues for me, getting that flooked into weekend to make sure its not my rig causing it, other than that, runs smoothly on PC for me, luckily my hori fight commander is already set with the right button preset.

If anyone wants to play against some Mileena & Dvorah get at me.

It should work if you let windows install automatic drivers I think, I did so a while back. Without any other programs, the game will show Xbox buttons, but your buttons will also be swapped (FP=BP atc.). With a program (I use Motioninjoy), the buttons are normal.

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
Had to go 360 pad. PS3 pad didn't work on PC.

Also...MASSIVE framerate drops. like the screen is hemorrhaging on certain stages. I got a radeon 6800 series, and 12gb ram. I go to the market or the rainy temple and holy shit its shaky. Gonna have to see if maybe I can do something with my settings somehow, but those stages are unplayable at the moment.

On the plus side my girl Sonya is sweet. I'm really liking her for the second MK in a row.

Workaround for the button mapping crashing:

1. Close MKX completely.
2. Unplug your keyboard.
3. Plug in your pad (if it isn't already).
4. Start MKX and re-map your buttons.
5. Close MKX.
6. Plug your keyboard back in.

You are good to go from now on. Apparently the crashing happens whenever two controllers are plugged in.

Taken from post

I can't take credit for this since I didn't discover it (read it from another post), but I tried this and was FINALLY able to change button mapping on my hitbox.

Unplug your keyboard, leaving only your desired controller plugged in.

Load MKX.

Try changing button mapping.

Save preset.

Plug keyboard back in after you're done playing.

Seems MKX can only remap buttons when one type of controller is plugged in. Unfortunate that we have to resort to these kinds of workarounds just to get our game to work. work around

Guess someone already posted it. And I made a typo

huh I figured out the problem. My ps3 controller now works. Used the scp ds3 tool.

But now I have a new problem. When my controller is plugged into my pc I get this constant static noise through my head phones.

Found a temp fix to get your controls mapped without game crashing. Just unplug your keyboard before you start your game and you will be able to change controls as normal with stick/pad.

Not sure if it saves on exit or not have not tried yet. I hope this fix works for other people as that default layout was just ass for stick users.

Forwarding this to someone I know with the issue, thanks! Not sure about the double controller theory, though, or maybe it's that PLUS something else. I have a keyboard, 360 controller and PS4 controller plugged in at the same time without a crashing issue when going in to re-map my buttons.

I run it on max settings and don't get any drops. X-ray and menus go to 30 but that's normal.
i7 3.2 960
Geforce gtx 770
6 gigs ram
cheap hard drive.

check the sky temple. every other map runs at a rock solid 60 fps map. But this one drop to 50-40 no mater what setting I put it on.
Out of interest, on what setting is your shadow quality? If it's perhaps set to Very High, set it to just High and test Sky Temple again and see if it makes any difference.

I'm unsure if this is PC only as i haven't tested it on other consoles. When i turn input shortcuts off i cannot interact with interactables by pressing 1+2. It does however work when i have input shortcuts on. It's infuriating as i honestly do not feel like having to assign 8 buttons specifically for every action. I want to throw by pressing 1+3 and use the interactables by pressing 1+2 and do and X-ray by pressing Block+3+4. They all work...except with the interactable...

Btw, out of all the stages, the Jungle stage makes some MASSIVE framedrops from 60 to downright 35fps midscreen where all the water runs. There are some other stages like the Sky Temple and Jinsei Chamber with a few drops in FPS, but nothing like the Jungle stage.

Tried some online last night, not incredible but better than I thought it was going to be, it never felt like I wasn't in total control.

I changed in-game res to 720p, then used the auto scan on my TV set to correct the misaligned image to full screen, and the game runs fine for me now.
In my particular case, its that last jump to 1080p that causes the FPS to drop.

May i ask for help here? I want to get MKX, but i am not sure if my PC is good enough to run it on high. Would you guys mind helping a noob out?

Specs: Intel Core i5-4690
ASUS B85M-G, Socket-1150
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB PhysX CUDA
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM

I got help from my brother to build the PC, but i cannot ask him atm. I am not very good with PCs, sorry.

Just give me the clear so i can get it!
That's a super solid computer, you shouldn't have any problems.

lol all i get max is 40 fps when i play on the training map on the other maps ill get max 30 with heavy heavy spikes and framedrops not to mention maps like the monk temple or wtf they named it and the Jungle. On some maps the fps will magically drop as soon as u move to a certain spot. Ive set everything to low and off and to minimum resolution whatever the fuck i could do result: 5 frames more . MK9 pc port, Injustice pc port and now MKX pc port this just makes me sad shit like these make it dang hard to be proud to be a PC gamer:(
