I did, and believe me I tried. I think I found the solution to my own problem though: turning down particle density. Much less slow down, and close to steady 60 fps even with everything other than particle density turned to max. I even tried it with particle density maxed and everything else set to low, and still nothing got better until I dropped particle density. I can't vouch for the effectiveness on Nvidia cards, but it sure helped my 290.

Same here seems more steady fps wise on my HD 6870

I heard that partical density when lowered helps. Maybe it's multiple set ups having a lot of different problems

B). Use VPN For Russian IP address to connect to steam, and redeem/play game on Russian IP. If you want English/Another Language be sure to use the right version. Game won't play in JP/GER.

VX-SA 360 Fight Stick Here. Crashing to desktop. I read on reddit that some guy got it to work after reinstalling I am currently downloading it again. The preview copy of the game still crashing I'm betting or praying rather it works on full download. I tried to use JoyToKey & XBCD but, again as someone noted trying to remap it just defaults back... I'm asking around...

edit: So basically the default has my throw as 4, my block is 3, my 1=1, my 2=2, my switch stance is where my 3 should be, my throw is where the interact button is, my block is where my throw should be. Its a fucking mess.

I am literally redownloading all 36GB of this game again, but at this point I waited up until midnight of 04/14 the disappointment as pretty much set in at this point. Bad enough no Stryker, and all the hell MK9 put me through from PDP to EVO. They owe us all an apology. Where the fuck was the beta test for this release?

edit: Grabbed a screwdriver and made the buttons match fuck it

If you're looking to change your controller input, best download the first package, and try to do this immediately before you download anything else.

Did anyone with fast internet connection try this ?

Well using a VPN to bypass region locks or get different prices can get your Steam account banned, so I won't risk it. I came to Netherlands and the game unpacked itself and now I just have to download the rest.

MK9 is still banned here, you can't find it on Steam Store. I guess it's too gory for their liking.

If we get lucky WB will remove the flags later. Capcom did the same with Dead Rising, but it will take forever most likely if it happens at all.

Me too, I'm playing on an old PS1 pad and when it vibrates it feels like its gonna fall apart.

Is anybody still having trouble binding their keys? Merely opening the menu makes my game crash outright and I can't turn negative edge off, which is basically necessary.

It's really irritating to know that the Devs are eating their cakes and celebrating the "success" of the game while we sit here in frustration. Sometimes I feel like PC gamers are neglected beyond belief.

Finally downloaded for me... the game looks a LOT better than the Xbone version and not nearly as washed out. Seems to run a solid 60 fps on everything except some situations in the sky temple, so I may have to turn down some of my settings.

I was able to re-map my keys without crashing. Not sure if it would make a difference, but once the packs were available, I downloaded them all before attempting to play the game.

Side note, it looks like Shinnok is unlocked from the get-go, unlike the console version where you have to complete story mode. This was nice for me since I don't actually plan to play story mode and got a chance to try out Shinnok.

No story mode? That's one of the best things about mortal kombat

This. I actually traded in my 360. Ps3. 3ds and games to pay for the ps4 and the limited edition mk x for it. Believe me.. I would way rather have bought it on steam. Player base on ps4 is too much to pass up For the moment at least

Hey guys just letting you know what worked for me to get rid of the frame jitter on sky temple, I went into my graphic card settings and forced vsync off for mkx. I have some screen tear but it runs smooth. Combine this with ambient occlusion off and it's silk.

I've accepted the retarded layout I just want negative edge off this shit is just a troll mechanic, how anyone manages to do combos with this shit on is beyond me..
