So, now that you have your hands on the game, are you surprised by how any characters play? Do you not like a character as much as you thought you would? Do you like a character MORE than you thought you would?
I find myself LOVING Raiden and I never used to play him. I REALLY like Takeda too.

Kung Jin exceeded expectations with his overhead/low mixups and high damage for no meter...not to mention his keepout game in Bojutsu is actually pretty damn good lol

After playing the story, I fell in love with Cassie (even tho I already wanted to try her out). I also want to go ahead and learn Jacqui and Takeda

kinda dissapointed in shinnok so far, lack of overhead/low mixups and lack of meterless combos :( I will still try him if I find something dirty, but I was realy hyped for him.

I like Kitana overall, as I expected. But I'll probably end up gravitating to somebody with better high/low options.

One thing that really surprised me is that everybody always skips the dialogue :(

Thought I would be maining Cassie which is still a possibility, but I really like Erron. Game feels a lot different than I anticipated, it's very fluid but I'm so bad at controlling it so far lol...I have to get used to the sprinting mechanic.

YES! The fluidity is stunning and it changes the entire feel of it. It reminds me of when I first got a PC and I played a game on max settings. Felt weird at first.

I expected cassie to be good but not that good lol.
She is amazing and so much fun to play!

I was fully anticipating Kenshi, Ermac, Shinnok, or Quan. I'm now with Kitana. I don't know how these things happen.

I was looking at Takeda and Liu Kang in the beginning, and I had a nightmarish crisis last night between Cage, KL, Liu Kang, Takeda, Sub Zero, etc. But I've settled on Takeda, and I'm really digging it.

I was a little surprised by how the story turned out, since we are on the subject.

The moment i saw Scorpion at E3 i knew i would main him day 1

So glad that i've been able to bond with him since i picked the game, and even more gladly that i get to play 3 variations of him, all Scorps vars are so good and cater different prespectives, can't wait for the tournament.

Yeah, I really don't think there isn't a character to everyone to enjoy. The variation system is working out fantastically as well. NS went above and beyond with this. I haven't been this satisfied with a game in a LOOOOOOONG time.

Kotal Kahn is awesome F+2 is a former mishima players wet dream
Still exploring the game before setting my mind on a main which I'm ok with

Yeah, it's probably because his attacks are largely animated. Really though with Kotal? I LOVE his F+4, the shit is hilarious! The Sparta kick lol.

-Jacqui is really fun, I think im going to pick her up sometime.

-Sub Zero is better than I thought he would be. Grandmaster is kind of ridiculous in the corner.

-I am definitely having the most fun using Mileena. Just a little disappointed that her ethereal variation seems more useful for evasion than setups.
