I have absolutely everything downloaded but I still can't select Scorpion, Subzero, Goro and story mode & online are still blocked out and I cannot use them. Other than that it's working fine but I am starting to loose my patience over this shit.

You would think that these billion dollar companies would have their shit together. This is really unacceptable for a company on this scale. They should have had this crap tested and ready weeks ago. They got my money, but I don't have what I paid for. SMH

Tried everything. Still not working :(

I'm just going to wait until the game is officially fully playable for everyone, which will mean it's fully released.

@Braindead PC disater race is brilliant haha, I am going to use that :)

I'm trying real hard to not get pissed off about this, went and played some Dead Space 2 to blow off some steam, going to have my dinner now and try again later. I suppose if Scorpion wasn't my no.1 choice for a main I wouldn't be getting so annoyed but I can't even play story mode...

Well you probably all saw this already, but they just released this announcement on Steam:

We are aware of download issues with the game and working closely with Steam to resolve the problem. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

i think Ed Boon thanking us for the feedback is inappropriate. He should be apologizing or pointing the finger if it wasn't NRS's fault. Just my 2cents.

There is an upside to all of this. Shinok is unlocked and you can try him before he is relocked when the story works? i assume thats how it will work.

I'm missing 3 characters and a lot of the modes, this is disaster.
Game runs fine on ultra tho. which is one positive thing about this all.

After reading this thead I opted to just download everything before running the game for the first time (fast broadband helps). 80 minutes and 32gb later and everything is apparently downloaded.

Launching the game now...

Looks like I now have the problem of having everything downloaded but not unlocked. Wonder how long it'll take for them to solve that issue.

Probably just going to have redownload the whole stupid fucking thing again.

Same thing when I ran the game - everything is downloaded but the content is still locked. Running the steam cache verification thing to be sure but if it doesn't work after that I'll probably give up for tonight (in the UK).
