Game is running fine for me, however, I'm all the way to the last download pack (the biggest one at 10 gigs) and still can't adjust my buttons. It is pretty much useless for me to go into training if I can't get my buttons set correctly. I'm not very happy with this streaming install shenanigans.

Ok update on this in case anybody else is in my situation. The button config screen is working fine, but it doesn't seem to like Xtokki converters with a PS2 pad. I can use the keyboard to change buttons without crashing, but as soon as I press a button on my PS2 pad, it crashes.

If i leave the button configuration at default, I can use the PS2 pad just fine.....but I just can't change the button configuration using the PS2 pad....which means I'm stuck at default.

UPDATE: It also doesn't like regular PC pads. I grabbed a standard logitec USB pad and tried it....it crashes just like with the PS2/Xtokki pad. So it is any pad as far as I can tell, and probably doesn't have anything to do with the converter.

Nope, packs 5 and 9 are missing.

Whilst I'm not a fan of assuming, ah reckon the missing parts will show up around the games official Steam launch time, which I believe is an hour or so away. Maybe what we've been given so far is the pre-load.

The performance issue I'm having is camera based, the fighters are moving around fine, but the camera can't "keep up" with them and judders, my FPS has popped over 30 yet.
We'll see what's going on when all is said and done and every pack has arrived and such, though I'm glad to hear that the game runs really well for some here, I was fearing a dreadful port, broken for everybody.

Yes, as soon as you've downloaded the pack with the stages.

I think so but not all characters will be available to use.

But as I said... for sure this game is heavy to run on max settings.

I sat in the lab on the Xbone last night while Story and stages downloaded, it worked gloriously. I did by a PC copy too, but these things are always such a cock up on launch day for PC so I'll install tomorrow.

There are 2 kinds of people in this world, in a past 24 hours one of them struggle with downloading GTA 5, and the others with MK X.

stages and AI for practice modes are in packages 12-13, after downloading those you'll be able to practice. Meanwhile you can tutorial mode.

When you have seeing at least one stage you can start to practice.

Pack 12 will give you the first stage to be able to use training mode.

You can install 5 and 9 by going to MKX's properties > DLC and clicking the install box next to each one.

PC master race is about freedom. In this case, it was the freedom for the game devs to release the game in a bad format.
