According to people on 4chan's /v/ board (so take this with a grain of salt) someone at valve messed up and unlocked the game early, my guess is that the 1 PM EST release was the correct one and we were never supposed to get this 12 am release.

This is a lie. They updated the store page to say X hours left, and I watched it count down to 9 PM PST. They didn't accidentally update the store countdown to be a different date and time.

Yeah, read that just now as well. It's a real shame Valve botched this release, because now (due to all the negative reviews) the majority of people will probably be deterred to buy the game perhaps

Maybe they'll discount the Kombat Pack to make up for the cock up, they have to save face somehow.

I don't know, it's strange. We knew the game will be unlocked at midnight with five hours of anticipation. I don't think Valve would be unaware of this. I don't know. I don't know what's going on lol

One thing I do like is the fast startup time. From double click to main menu, its only about 7 seconds.

I bought the game from Nuuvem as well, with the Kombat Pack. I've yet to receive my code, but Brazil is 5 hours behind my country, so I need to wait a little longer before I get my codes.

I ordered from Nuuvem. On my account, the only thing that has been unlocked is the Kombat Pack. I'm still waiting for the game itself.

Sad thing is, because of the rage the game is getting "mixed" reviews in the Steam store page. Almost 48% of the reviews are negative.

And this is why anyone with half of a brain should actually read those reviews if he intends to actually go by them - which is inadvisable.

I hate to say that, but if people are actually going to be turned off by things like that, I say good riddance. If you don't have patience and willingness to do your research about the game, you are going to RQ it on the first try in online anyway.

That said, I hope Volvo put their shit together ASAP.

Valve very likely has nothing to do with this fuckup. They provide the tools to developers to handle their own games; this is an NRS or High Voltage problem.

One thing that has me a bit worried though is that I don't have any codes yet (nothing for Goro). Maybe they ran out of stock or are waiting for more codes to distribute. Sounds like the GMG keys haven't gone out either. But, I'll remain patient till 17:00 CET

I'll update you again once I get my actual code, hopefully by then you'll have yours as well and hopefully the PC version will be working by then. Best of luck.
