His forward 2 Palm launcher is like -11 iirc, and 1,2 is better and faster to whiff punish, it's -10 iirc.

And the combo I did is only two bars.

What parry does is absorb and take no damage, but your next attack does 25% more damage, I also think that it negates frame data, so moves that you parry that are + maybe punishable. Because you recover instantly from parry when you block the move.

Parry only blocks 1 normal, doesn't work on projectiles. It's 8f, ex is 1f counter. It has its use imo, but in clutch situations.

What does it parry? Just not lows?

it's the sword shake, it's + on block, the slam is Unblockable. If you do the move and hold up, you don't get the slam and can continue pressure, good for baiting escape from the slam
What's that yellow flash of armor? Or why does it change from normal white armor to yellow?

it has armor on the move, look at the health bar, he takes some damage but finished the move
Well yeah that's how armor works lol. But why does it change to yellow like it has something to do with the move itself? Maybe I missed it and every character's armor changes to their unique color but I don't think so
 
I still haven't played a match yet haha, I'm not really an NRS player. So I'm gonna really bad in the beginning, hopefully we can make the character work. :)

Matbe it's how armor looks like in the game I'm assuming

So from the discussions, Kotal seems like a risk/reward character. Sounds like unless you have war god, approaching could be a difficult thing to do.

It generally kind of feels like Blood will be mediocre unless he has crazy normals(which doesn't seem to be the case) I mean you already have a damage buff so do you really need another one when you basically lack any specials..., Sun will depend entirely on how useful command grabs are since that seems to be all it gets, and War will be the main variant used as it seems to actually get substantial set of tools (footsies oriented) ontop of his base passive heavy kit.

Blood god can get 71% damage, Kotal's buffs aren't by %1 or anything, they're fucking mean.

Damage aside he still has other totem buffs so it's not only about that.

Health gain is it not? The red one gives you back health for damage you inflict on the opponent.
You're right there is a health regain totem.

I'll see if I can find the video of it, you get health back based on how much damage you do to the opponent.

I could swear the was a meter gain one, I guess not.

Part of the issue that comes to mind is that that seems to require that you get two of your buffs active, and then you need to somehow land a combo. Most of what I've seen suggests Kotal mostly has mid hits, and isn't very safe at that without that sword.


As for meter regain isn't that a Sun form ability?
