How?That is technically breaking the law
They can't ban you for having the game early, lol. They can ban you if you got it illegally, like say, a torrent. What cocky assholes anyway....streaming a game before its even released? That is technically breaking the law, I am surprised PSN and XB1 aren't banning accounts for being caught having it early...they should.
It's only illegal to sell a game, or to get it illegal, but not to get it early or play it early. What cocky assholes anyway....streaming a game before its even released? If its not breaking the actual "law", it certainly is breaking rules that can be punished by an account ban. At least, it used be.How?
Thanks dude. copyright violations could be classified as breaking the law. Though it goes unpunished in these types of situations, as it should. It's only illegal to sell a game, or to get it illegal, but not to get it early or play it early.
Posting footage of it early can be seen as a copyright violation or whatever, so that stuff gets taken down with haste.
I would think the shops have a bit more liability. The player can't and shouldn't be punished though. For what? Being too excited to play the game?If its not breaking the actual "law", it certainly is breaking rules that can be punished by an account ban. At least, it used be.
Maybe I am just ignorant on this, but can't these shops be punished for selling games before release date? If not, what stops them???

...Colt's a NRS developer or developer for games? That's cool.
Stop Hatin bruh. What cocky assholes anyway....streaming a game before its even released? That is technically breaking the law, I am surprised PSN and XB1 aren't banning accounts for being caught having it early...they should.
It's not hate, man. It's just annoying to have the game so exposed before launch. It takes away some of the "magic" of the release date for me. I had an opportunity to buy it at a place five minutes away called Video Palace, turned it down in favor of my Gamestop pre order. If people have it early, it would be cool if they weren't dicks about it and broadcast gameplay, at least not story gameplay...at the very least.Stop Hatin bruh.
What? lol I don't post on here as much as I have. Guess I'm out of the loop with some users....
Bruh.
For every one person like you there's 10 more that want to see and know as much as possible. The only difference is no one is forcing you to expose yourself to the leakage but yourself. It's not hate, man. It's just annoying to have the game so exposed before launch. Story LOL! I play MK to meet people from around the world and thump their melons. It's nice that the story is the best in Fighting Games, but it's not the main draw.I ended up seeing all of campaign via Twitch and I gotta say, I would cancel preorder if story was a selling point. I'm sure they lost sales like this already. I also don't get how Twitch isn't on top of these streams or how PSN/Xbox Live doesn't have some kind of authorized account system for games prerelease. To offset this negativity let me end by saying that I appreciate the work Netherrealm put into making the game and if it has a fun fighting system and a good number of viable characters I will be playing it for a long time.

Other fighting games usually have the option to stream story locked from the start so it's really no one's fault but NRS for that. The people who get the game before release shouldn't be punished for it.It's not hate, man. It's just annoying to have the game so exposed before launch. How did you manage to get the game early?DONT YOU WISH THAT ON ME.
As of right now you can still access practice mode and 1v1... but it is hard to lab out figuring that the frames are wrong and there is a day 1 patch.
Do you mean the in-game frame data is wrong even without that odd patch?DONT YOU WISH THAT ON ME.

Posting here makes it hard to ignore. But I accept that. You are right. For every one person like you there's 10 more that want to see and know as much as possible. The only difference is no one is forcing you to expose yourself to the leakage but yourself.
