What's new

Let's talk: MKX on PC

And it's funny that so many people still think so, because it's much more cost efficient to game on PC than console now (rant ahead).

*snip*
It is especially funny here where I live.

Full price of MKX with Kombat Pack is about $25 for PC. For console it's almost $100. DoA5? About $15 vesus $70. Considering other releases I'm interested in this year alone (Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3, which btw will be best looking on PC), this will quickly add up - that is before things like Steam sales.

Who cares about how it looks, lets just hope this time they keep gameplay between PC & console 1 to 1 this time
No idea what are you talking about? MK9 PC was 1 to 1 X360 version (beside the obvious visual upgrade).

There seem to be a lot of people who are picking up the PC version. So much that I decided not to get a PS4, which I originally intended. The region lock was also a factor.

I really hope the online is good on PC, otherwise I might get it for Xbone. And maaaaaybe someday for PS4, when and if I get one.

Let's just hope that the online will be equal on all platforms.

For me it seems to be more of an ISP problem. The only thing that runs flawless online is Killer Instinct currently for some reason. USF4 was onplayable for me on PSN as well as PC. And Injustice and MK9 were also unplayable on PC.

Russia. It could be cheaper if it wasn't for exchange rate to change dramatically, forcing Valve to increase prices in local currency.

Chances are, it's because it's one of just 2 games that use rollback netcode (as well as Skullgirls, do you know any more?).

I'll be playing it on PC until the 360 version comes out. Ordering new PC parts later today, hopefully they'll arrive in time for the release.
Are you intending to move to 360 then? Why?
Providing PC version will be okay, ofc.

Idk, Injustice on Ps4 is pretty damn good, i often get lagfree matches. If MK X is better then that it will be perfect.

Different people on 360, including most of my friends. Also I'm a huge achievement hunter but Steam achievements do nothing for me. Steam achievements to me are like wearing fake Ray-Bans, essentially the same thing but just don't feel right.

Console games are developed on PC.
There is no reason why they shouldn't all be available on PC, except, you know, industry. I'm really happy that NRS have realised that releasing the game on all available platforms is better for everybody, except for the same industry that keeps other fighting games exclusive to their platform.
