Try DLC Before You Buy: Ed Boon Speaks About MKX 'Premiere Towers'

In an interview with veteran Youtube game reviewer AngryJoe a couple of a days ago, Ed Boon spoke candidly on a wide range of topics, covering several areas of the new game. One thing which was somewhat lost among the shuffle, however, was his mention of a new ability for curious players to try new DLC releases out, before they pay for them.

According to Ed, the 3 towers in the 'Living Towers' section of internet-enabled challenge ladders will feature a 'Premiere Tower', which will give players a chance to play as the newest DLC character during special, timed events before deciding to purchase them.

Yeah, most serious tournament players will have an idea of how these characters play and will probably have bought them earlier on. But, this is great news for the rest of the millions of people who will likely buy the game.
