REO
Undead
I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but I haven't seen much of it on here so here goes... (if there's a thread on this already, a mod can feel free to close this or move it to there)
I want to know what is the current stance with players who use a head set at a tournament by plugging it into the PS4 controller or the XBONE controller. Currently if you plug in a head set into your controller for any of the new gen systems, it gets rid of the sound completely from the monitor for both players. So only the player who has a head set plugged into their controller can hear any sound. Is this fair for the player who did not bring a head set with them to a tournament? Or is it fair for a player playing on a stick (or another device) that does not give them the option to plug into their instrument of choice? If it's agreed upon that it is not fair to use a single headset plugged into a controller, then what could the solution be?
Do we ban single head set usage into controllers for MKX and just allow use into the controller if BOTH players have access to a head set? I know there are ways to get around this issue by having a splitter and other device adjustments so that players can choose to use head sets WHILE having sound come from the TV as well. (This is something Spooky does). But not ALL TO's have the luxury of having this available to their players so it wouldn't be a plausible solution, IMO. (at least for now)
So with MKX literally around the corner, what do you guys think? Attached I have a poll. Hopefully we all come to a solution or agreement for what may become an issue in the future.
