its just a game Fokker honestly wtf is wrong with that guy
Some people share the same feeling as you while others don't. I don't think what Static is asking us to do is necessarily negative since it's merely reporting him versus lashing out at the guy.Am I the only one that thinks this thread is unnecessary? All Shaun has to do is Block the guy on twitter. No need for even MORE negativity.
All Tim did was ask people to report him. Not to say anything, not to make threats, not to be negative. Report him on twitter, that's it. Let twitter make the decision on him. We can have a voice that way, and at the same time, reach out to one of our own, Shaun, and say "we've got your back". Nothing wrong with that.Am I the only one that thinks this thread is unnecessary? All Shaun has to do is Block the guy on twitter. No need for even MORE negativity.
I've always considered TYM an extension of NRS fan support. I think the thread is appropriate for that purpose.Am I the only one that thinks this thread is unnecessary? All Shaun has to do is Block the guy on twitter. No need for even MORE negativity.

Exactly what Phil said. All Tim did was ask people to report him. Not to say anything, not to make threats, not to be negative. Report him on twitter, that's it. Let twitter make the decision on him. The negativity was from @Tim Static 's post. Regardless, I get it. I guess what I was getting at was us making the issue into a much bigger issue while the Block button (no pun intended) is there. All Tim did was ask people to report him. I get it, sweety. Do you understand what I was getting at though, at least? lolExactly what Phil said.
If this asshat wins, WE ALL lose. Shaun is a great guy & it infuriates me this happened. We as a group can stand together to show our love & support. That's all.![]()
Well I mean, the report button is there for a reason. The negativity was from @Tim Static 's post. Regardless, I get it. I guess what I was getting at was us making the issue into a much bigger issue while the Block button (no pun intended) is there.
True and good points by all. I have been had. lolWell I mean, the report button is there for a reason.
I mean if I was to start threatening to kill people's families on TYM would you prefer that people report me or would you say "don't worry guys, just block him!"
Not entirely sure now to be honest. I wasn't intending anything negative tho i realized one side of this whole thing could be taken that way by certain people. But that is something this moron should have thought about before he posted that (along with the dozens of other tweets he's threaten people with, if you scroll down his Twitter page). Still, two wrongs don't make a right & that isn't what I want people to do. I want people to expose him to Twitter so he gets his account shutdown & Shaun see's the positive side of staying with us on Twitter.I get it, sweety. Do you understand what I was getting at though, at least? lol
There's no arguing with this, LOL.Well I mean, the report button is there for a reason.
I mean if I was to start threatening to kill people's families on TYM would you prefer that people report me or would you say "don't worry guys, just block him!"
I have no idea what that means. Simply put that if you consider threatining a man's wife and child "banter" and you were to say that to anyone's face in Texas it would be considered "Assault by threat" (I am a police officer fyi) and then the person you said it to would have every legal authority to punch you sqaure in the face, call me, and then I would take you tk jail.I'd respond to your question, but since you've moved the goalposts for some reason, I doubt you'd listen.
actually no, i'm notCome on man...you possibly can't be FOR this...
what exactly was your point? you saw something you didn't like, gathered your troops, and told them to attack (read -> report the guy)You replied with the stupid, not me. What you said wasn't my point whatsoever, tho I knew the guy is asking for it, and frankly deserves it. But fact is that it doesn't help. Two wrongs still don't make a right.
i wasnt trying to save or play anything, i was pointing out the fact that, like tim said, two wrongs dont make a rightread this as you "cool off"---> http://www.paradiger.com/mortal-kombat-xs-producer-shaun-himmerick-quits-twitter-because-of-threats-against-family/
cause there is no way u took the time before posting thinking you would save this thread by playing Devil's Advocate
Who said they believe he knows who she is? It's more about what he said he'd do to her than anything. Whether he knows her or not is irrelevant. He just went too far with his comment.LOL you guys really think he knows who Shaun's wife is? LOL @ everyone who thinks this dude is actually serious.
But they do give people that ability because, for the most part, they are considered banter. Whether you like it or not, the implications of things on the web and in reality are two different things. That's why it doesn't make sense to compare them.Threats are not "banter" just because you are online does not give you some magical ability to be more of an ass than you already are and have the gravity of what you said taken any less seriously.
Nobody had to. If he knew who she was and where she lived, then it would be more of a threat. At least I think so. So how is that irrelevant? Especially given the fact that he doesn't know her. At least I hope not, because then his comment would carry more weight in being a threat.Who said they believe he knows who she is? It's more about what he said he'd do to her than anything. Whether he knows her or not is irrelevant. He just went too far with his comment.
