Some people share the same feeling as you while others don't. I don't think what Static is asking us to do is necessarily negative since it's merely reporting him versus lashing out at the guy.
All Tim did was ask people to report him. Not to say anything, not to make threats, not to be negative. Report him on twitter, that's it. Let twitter make the decision on him. We can have a voice that way, and at the same time, reach out to one of our own, Shaun, and say "we've got your back". Nothing wrong with that.
I've always considered TYM an extension of NRS fan support. I think the thread is appropriate for that purpose.

The negativity was from @Tim Static 's post. Regardless, I get it. I guess what I was getting at was us making the issue into a much bigger issue while the Block button (no pun intended) is there.

Not entirely sure now to be honest. I wasn't intending anything negative tho i realized one side of this whole thing could be taken that way by certain people. But that is something this moron should have thought about before he posted that (along with the dozens of other tweets he's threaten people with, if you scroll down his Twitter page). Still, two wrongs don't make a right & that isn't what I want people to do. I want people to expose him to Twitter so he gets his account shutdown & Shaun see's the positive side of staying with us on Twitter.

I have no idea what that means. Simply put that if you consider threatining a man's wife and child "banter" and you were to say that to anyone's face in Texas it would be considered "Assault by threat" (I am a police officer fyi) and then the person you said it to would have every legal authority to punch you sqaure in the face, call me, and then I would take you tk jail.

Who said they believe he knows who she is? It's more about what he said he'd do to her than anything. Whether he knows her or not is irrelevant. He just went too far with his comment.
But they do give people that ability because, for the most part, they are considered banter. Whether you like it or not, the implications of things on the web and in reality are two different things. That's why it doesn't make sense to compare them.
Nobody had to. If he knew who she was and where she lived, then it would be more of a threat. At least I think so. So how is that irrelevant? Especially given the fact that he doesn't know her. At least I hope not, because then his comment would carry more weight in being a threat.
