Hey guys, I'm looking to start a scene out here in El Paso for MKX. I'm currently located on the East side close to Fort Bliss. Depending on the amount of people I get to participate, I will either be hosting at my own place, or a shop. I would like to start getting a list of people willing to get together for practice, tournaments, events, and such. I will also be making road trips to any nearby events, including upcoming EVO 2015. Please leave your name here, or message me your contact information and I will begin sending out details a few days before release. I'm hoping this really kicks off.

Awesome, its good to start seeing some replies. But you're right, I'm starting to see how spread out this place can be. I'm def going to hit up shoryuken and see what they got going on over there. I'm going to start planning more stuff this weekend, create a fb group, some flyers, and anything else that can help. I'm trying to work with my local gamestop to hold a tournament and hopefully I will be able to spread the word a little more with the entrants there. I will also start hosting casuals at my place as soon as the game comes out. Casuals will be on PS4 for the time being, anyone on xbo is more than welcome to bring it along if they want. I have 4 screens available. Eventually, if things go as planned I will have it on both systems. I will continue to edit the first post as needed and add more information throughout the weekend. Also, if things go as planned we will be streaming weekly down the line. Thanks again guys.

I'm pretty sure lomaland is just south of where im staying at. I 'm right off the 375 and Montana. I will gladly work with your schedule, just let me know what works for you and we can figure something out.

Alright guys just a few more days! I have set up a facebook page for anyone wanting to join up. Link below. I will be updating it this weekend with all the current information. I will also be hosting casuals at my place on Saturday April 18th starting at noon. You can contact me through the FB page or email me at [email protected] if you wish to come. We will have a small tournament with a $20 starting pot bonus. It will be either round robin or double elimination, depending on entrants.

Also, there is going to be a MKX tournament at the Gamestop inside of Fort Bliss on april 13th at 6pm and the game will be released for purchase early at 10 PM. It IS a military base so if you plan to attend make sure to bring your ID/Driver's License to get through the gate and have no firearms in your vehicle as they do random vehicle inspections. Feel free to contact me if you need help, directions, have any questions, or just want to meet up for this tournament.

Great news guys! I was able to talk to some of the folks at Taco Truck Gaming (http://www.tacotruckgaming.com) who do tournaments and events for a lot of games and are also trying to start something for MKX. They will be having a tournament tomorrow night at 8pm at Barfly in East El Paso which I will be attending and discussing some possible future events with them. Sorry man but those guys don't know how to do tournaments. I went to their midnight release one and I got dq'd for pausing the game on a cutscene.
