As the title states how long do you think Quitality will be a thing, do you think it will make it into future MK games, would you like it to.

Yeah i was kinda hoping for the same but it kept bothering me to see all these other topics had all these threads and this one was so empty and lonely i just said screw it and made one of the top of my head.

Quitalities will probably only be in MKX unless highly requested for the next one. It's just gonna end up being another hara-kiri.

Is it going to differentiate legit network errors over actually pulling/quitting the game? There have been countless times, a random lag spike occurs forcing the game to lag out and then certain users automatically assume it was a rage quit.

No.... think about it. Hara Kiri's gave the loser the upper hand in Deception. It was like winning in a match where you lost. Someone who rage quits for just up and quits in a match should be allowed no upper hand.

I got it... for the first person who posts a Quitality they will receive that character's severed head as a medal. LOL

Something to think about, but that would be hilarious. For example (referencing the video above) that person would get Scorpion's head for a medal.

I meant that when they quit, instead of their head popping, you see them kill themselves in a Hara-Kiri animation.

They quit, they don't see it.

They gain no benefits, you get the enjoyment of watching your enemy kill themselves.

That is infinitely more humiliating to have recorded than just a head pop. And it's more satisfying to watch, it's like you kicked their ass so hard they kill themselves from shame.

They'll be around as long as MKX has life online. Furthermore, there will always be rage quitters everywhere and in every game. They should just make it that after 3 quits in a row or 10 quits all day that you get banned from online for 24 hours. Repeated offenders will get more time added. It's really up to the game creators and Microsoft/Sony as to how to go about bans.

I think he is saying that the animation should be more involved. Like the moment the player quits, his/her character screams "Please, no more!" then kills them self.

IMO if they quit, I want it to be over and done with ASAP so I can find another match, so I think Quitalities will suit best but that's just me. I do get what you're saying though

ehh thing is Hara-Kiri's were cool! lol and it was a finger race to kill yourself or the guy kills you first. QUITALITY I think is just proof someone can't handle losing lol.

I think how successful they are depends on whether they happen only when someone goes to quit via the menu, or whether they're also triggered when someone rage-disconnects entirely.

In my experience (usually get 5 or 6 rage quits per session if I'm playing Player Match) most of the more habitual rage quitters are cord-pullers, not the other variety.

On this note, hopefully the game doesn't fuck with my college wifi(which is actually runs smooth on PS3/PS4), because certain games(COD:AW and Tekken Tag 2 for example) will randomly DC me after a certain amount of time.

Injustice doesn't have this problem, but i'm still scared. I don't want random drops on MKX because people will upload it and it'll wrongly make me look bad. How could I possibly be seen as the best Jacqui player online if everyone thinks i'm a salty sailor?

I'm in the same boat. I have piss poor internet connection at home and I don't want to have Kitty_1205 get slandered around Youtube due to poor connection.

Even when I broadcast on Twitch with whatever game I'm playing, it cuts out for a few minutes because my internet just quits.

I honestly love the idea of quitalities, very fun idea to make rage quits a little less annoying, I hope they stick and even become a series staple for years to come :p

Don't play over WiFi. the game should disconnect anyone that tries TBH.
