if you read the full tweet i specifically ask about a hitbox with a ps360 board and they assure me that it will workThey could be referring to the ps3 only hitboxes and not the ps360 ones
Not exactly they said hitbox is confirmed to work. In their reply they do not mention what Hitbox. They might have ignored the jargon and assumed all hitboxes are the same. There is a Hitbox that is for only ps3.if you read the full tweet i specifically ask about a hitbox with a ps360 board and they assure me that it will work

Re-asking question, hopefully this thread stays on topic?Has anyone found this compatibility list I've been hearing about? I haven't found one yet online and I think we'd all be glad to just have a list in front of us.
I Wish I could find you information, but all I keep running into are sites that are quoting the fact that Lab Zero was putting together a Compatibility List.Re-asking question, hopefully this thread stays on topic?
Thanks! I kept running into those quotes too, I was hoping they had put out a list somewhere. Since ps4 skullgirls comes out after MKX I assume we'll get that list after 4/14.I Wish I could find you information, but all I keep running into are sites that are quoting the fact that Lab Zero was putting together a Compatibility List.
Here are (2) quotes that may give you some additional insight however:
"Lab Zero CEO Peter Bartholow told Polygon that "any stick that reads as a generic USB gamepad or joystick will work," explaining that this covers MadCatz TEs and "other smaller brands and custom options such as the GodLike Controls' Cthulhu boards."
"However, Bartholow clarified that devices that identify themselves as a DualShock 3 will not work with the driver, which means products like Akishop’s PS360+ board and the InPin PS2 to PS3 adapter aren’t supported."
These are old quotes however, it is possible the drivers have been updated or there is a newer revisions since the time these were written/quoted.
I'm very curious about this as well, if they worked the ps4 menu it would be a big deal. I don't see how they will though, if it's code built into the game. If anybody on here could shed some light on this or just ask lab zero (I have no twitter) that would be fantastic.I just successfully hacked a PS4 controller and interfaced it with arcade controls. I need to get some sleep right now, so I'll post pics and details tomorrow. This is just a backup plan in case the PS3 fight sticks don't work for the PS4 menu. I need them to work for not just the game, but for full PS4 functionality if I want to use them for my MKX arcade project. If they don't, I'll just hack another PS4 controller and go that route.
I think it should work. I am looking at buying an old ps3 madcatz stick to use for MKX.i have a qanba q1 for ps3. will this work? what say you?
My Smartphone doesn't have much quality but...Holy Shit i'm good to go.As long the stick has been licensed by Sony, it will work:
For example, look at the bottom right corner of my stick's box:

If you have that "Official Licensed Product" icon on the box of your stick, you're good to go.
This is why I'm concerned for the Qanba users however, I feel like I remember reading that they use actual Dualshock 3 PCBs to get it working with PS3.For those that didn't catch it, the PS4 version of MKX will be compatible with PS3 sticks and controllers!!! This is HUUUUUUGE!!!
To clarify, it will ONLY work with controllers that identify as "generic USB" devices and not PS3. Which means DualShock 3 controllers and the InPin PS2-to-PS3 converter will not work, and 360 controllers won't, either, for obvious reasons. Most sticks, however, will work, and a lot of USB controllers will work.
For someone like myself, though, who wishes to use the Logitech F310 for fighting games, this is an absolute godsend!![]()
Yup, don't see why not.My Smartphone doesn't have much quality but...Holy Shit i'm good to go.
