As long the stick has been licensed by Sony, it will work:

As annoying as it seems to have to remove the battery from the PS4, perhaps you should try organizing and running an event on EVO's scale before thinking that. One numbnuts forgetting to turn off their wireless controller can cause problems for hundreds of other competitors using the same setup and can delay the schedule for ages before the culprit behind it is found.

Removing the battery from a pad pretty much eliminates this problem since it draws power from the system itself and otherwise can't be turned on.

I also am a part of KiT and run the NRS stuff there and at midwest championships not to mention i usually pitch in at most tournaments. so i have a really good idea on what im talking about when i say that evo needs to revisit their policy on wireless pads

The reason he said Hitbox works is because the PS3 version of the hit box uses Toodles Cthulu PS3/PC Board (SOCD Firmware Controlled) which in the polygon article said it worked. Tank God I never sold my Te 1 RD2 it's just sucks that I moded my xbox360 stick to multi console and now have to mod this one to the layout I like :/ looks like I'm buying another combat panel
