Booking a hotel? Let me help you save money!

My wife and I both happen to work for the same two hotel divisions. We work at Hampton Inn (a Hilton brand) and Country Inn and Suites (a Carlson brand) and due to this, we can get people a family/friend discount and the likes. My wife is the main one who deals with this kind of stuff, so she knows more about it than I do.

However, I know enough about it to at least give people an idea of what I'm getting at with this thread. I'm aiming to help anyone who plans on booking a reservation soon or in the future save some money on it. As far as I know, no proof has to be presented to show that you even know me personally. My wife sets up the reservation, works her magic and bam, instead of something like $150 a night, you're looking at like $75 a night. These are just examples, mind you. Rack rates vary from place to place, day to day, etc.

I'd love to give people my employee discount, but unfortunately I can't. My wife and I booked our hotel for CEO already and it's $60 total for two days. Who wouldn't want that, right?

So, I implore anyone who is planning to do any kind of traveling (tournaments, family, etc) that will require them to be staying at a hotel to check to see what kind of hotel it is and who it is owned by. If it falls under any of the aforementioned brands (Carlson/Hilton), we should be able to help you out. You won't have to provide me with any super personal information at all (credit card numbers or things like that). I do believe we'll at least need your name, address and possibly a phone number. None of this gets exchanged via a message or anything. You just let me know that you're booking a hotel somewhere and I'll give you the number to call to speak to my wife who can set you up a reservation at any hotel within our brand in the United States.

If you're at all interested in this, feel free to shoot me a private message.

I'll make you a T-shirt for whoever you main, from the F/T community to you to show our support for you helping others.

Does it have to be for tournaments only? My GF and I are planning to rent one for C2E2 in Chicago and this would be appreciated.

which variation?
Assassin would be awesome.

For those who asked, this isn't for tournaments only. It's for any type of situation where staying at a hotel would be required.

From the OP: So, I implore anyone who is planning to do any kind of traveling (tournaments, family, etc) that will require them to be staying at a hotel to check to see what kind of hotel it is and who it is owned by.

You just have to be sure to let me know the name of the hotel so I can see if it's part of the branch of hotels that we work for.

I'll see what I can do for you. It'll be a standard Tee though. What size are you? Like a medium?

Is there a limit on how many people you can give this to?

Either way this is super nice of you to do, much respect.
